The objectives for today’s lesson relate to the goals of the course because the
teacher is using resources from inside and outside the classroom and
incorporating individual and group activities to support the learning. She is also
using differentiation in her class to make the learning effective.

Comments: The lesson plan should include a more detailed mini lesson and more purposeful discussion of the activity before start. Then the
activities need to be connected so that students can develop a clear understanding, For example, after playing the video the students should
have applied the rule of finding fractions on the same cake example before moving on to the next exrcise.

Comments: Time can be utilized better. The students do not work within a set target so they seemed too relaxed and not challenged to move
to the next level

The use of small groups/pair work during each activity was appropriate xx

Comments: Comfortable use of the smart board, however it is not fully utilized.

Other Comments:
The mini lesson needs to be more precise. The page you shown on the screen was too busy and not clear!
You need to explain the exercise more clearly
You need to assign tasks in each group and have a clear plan before starting the exercise
You need to connect the idea of counting the boxes with the equation rule provided by the video

Strengths:
The activity is hands on and can lead to deep learning because they are motivated and the exercise is related to life

Suggestions for Improvements:


Work on them listening to each other and waiting to hear from each other
Need to add Good visual explanation
Classroom management in terms of student listening skills and engagement when the teacher provides instruction
