Harbour.Space is a university founded in 2015, in Barcelona, Spain. We are an educational establishment
created by entrepreneurs for entrepreneurs, focused on meeting the demands of the future. As such, we are
one of the only European institutions completely dedicated to technology, design and entrepreneurship, taught
by some of today's leading professionals. Our aim is not only to equip students with the skills and knowledge
they need, but to nurture, create and shape them into tomorrow’s industry leaders.

Job Summary
As Harbour.Space expands and opens new programs and campuses, we are looking for strong leaders to
support us in our search for talented individuals for our competitive programs, at the undergraduate and
graduate levels.

The role of the admissions officer is to provide qualified applicants with the admission requirements and
advise them on appropriate degrees and possible career paths. In addition, he or she will determine whether
the applicant is the right fit for the university's programs and/or industrial partners’ scholarships by evaluating
transcripts and other application materials, as well as conducting admission interviews.

Responsibilities and Duties

1. Monitoring/organizing/updating the admissions’ pipelines
2. Supporting candidates through the admission process; providing them with accurate and timely
information on the university
3. Establishing strategies for recruiting students internationally
4. Being the first point of contact for prospective students
5. Conducting and assessing professional interviews
6. Processing application forms (including data entry)
7. Leading Campus Tours for prospective students and their parents
8. Arranging and attending Open Days
9. Representing the University at promotion events
10.Creating promotional opportunities for the school; visiting schools and colleges, speaking to groups and
individual students
11. Developing partnerships between the university and other institutions in Spain and internationally
12.Coordinating community workshops and on-site admissions programmes
13.Determining admissibility, transferability of credit, and residency for new and re-admitted
undergraduate students

Qualifications and Skills

We’re looking for candidates that are:
- Ambitious self-starters with a good eye for spotting talent
- Clear and effective communicators with a proficient level of English (other languages are an
advantage)
- Holders of a Bachelor’s degree and who enjoy working in a combination of academic &
startup environment
- Team players
- Experienced in admissions (This is not a must, but will be counted as an advantage.)
