FUTURE TENSE WITH “WILL”

When we want to talk about future facts, promises or things that we believe
to be true about the future, we use “will”.
(We also use “will” at the moment of a decision.)
- I am sure you will like her.
- You will play in my team.
- I am certain he will do a good job.
- I will call Ashley to let her know about it.
If we are not so certain about the future, we use “will” with expressions
such as probably, possibly, I think, I hope.
- I hope you will visit one day.
- He will probably be a great boss.
- I think I will go to the concert.

FUTURE TENSE WITH “GOING TO”

If you are making a future prediction based on evidence and when
something has been already planned in the present situation, use “(to be) +
going to”.
- The traffic is terrible. We are going to miss our flight.
- Not a cloud in the sky. It’s going to be a warm day.
- I am going to buy a new car next year.
- She is going to travel to Canada tomorrow.

FUTURE TENSE WITH “PRESENT CONTINOUS”

The present continuous (to be) + (verb)ing is used for planned or personally
scheduled events. it is usually used with principle verbs such as: coming,
begin, start, finish, have, etc.
- He’s coming tomorrow morning.
- What are we having for lunch?
- You are having Brazilian food.
