Career Objective

Personal Profile
Presently serving as Instructional Design Leader for the Cedar Rapids Community School District. I
enjoy traveling, boating, and sports. My husband, Patrick is the Superintendent of Lisbon and
Springville Community Schools and we have two children, Ryan and Madison.

Instructional Design Leader 2014 to Present Cedar Rapids, IA
 Creation of PK-12 Instructional Coaching Model/System and support of instructional coach’s through
infield coaching.
 Develop and facilitate Professional Learning for the Instructional Design Strategist (coach’s).
 Provide school site coaching and support to IDS, Administration, Building Leadership Teams (BLT),
and Tier 1, 2, and 3 Teams, on a scheduled and regular basis.
 Development of a new SIP model for Cedar Rapids Community School District aligned to the
Marzano High Reliability Schools Framework.
 Develop and provide professional learning aligned with district strategic plan, content standards, and
PLC framework through a variety of settings.
 Creation of the Profile of a Graduate as a member of School Improvement Advisory Committee.
 Collaborate with IDS, BLT, and district staff to determine professional learning needed to accomplish
action steps of the School Improvement Plan (SIP).
 Support and assist school staff with data analysis related to the SIP.
 Collaborate with building staff and administrators to prepare for transition to magnet school.
 Establishment of the Safe and Civil schools MTSS framework in 4 secondary buildings.
 Collaborate and support building and district level staff with Intercultural Competency development,
including designing and delivering professional learning.
 Member of District Equity Leadership Team. Facilitated, planned, and co-led team meetings.
 Developed and taught the following courses: Engaging Audiences with Technology, Translating NGSS
into Classroom Instruction, and Learner Centered Assessment – More Than Grading.
 Initiated the Instructional Practices Inventory in the CRCSD.
 Assisted in facilitation of MS and HS Administration monthly professional learning.
 Led multiple book studies with IDS, administration, and other teams. Book titles have included:
