ABSTRACT

Shoulder dystocia is a situation where after the head is born, the anterior shoulder can not pass
below the pubic symphysis. This condition is a obstretri criticalness that could cause complications in
the mother and fetus. BPM Ny. E maternity March-May, 2016 as many as 25 people and there is one
person (4%) who experienced shoulder dystocia. Midwives within the competence of labor dystocia
that authorities have to handle with emergencies and continued with the referral.

The purpose of this study do midwifery care intranatal care in Ny. H Age 25 Years G2P1A0 Gravida
term Inpartu Kala II Single Living intrauterine fetus with shoulder dystocia in BPM Ny. E
Pameungpeuk District Garut regency period March 2016. This research strategy is the use of
qualitative research with case study method is applied in the form of midwifery care. Data
collection techniques are interviews, participatory observation, documentation.

Results obtained from the mother feels the subjective data mules were getting stronger and there is
already the impulse to be straining. Objective examination genitalia baby's head is born tetepi
remain in the vagina, the baby's head did paksi round the outside, the baby's head stuck in the
perineum and there nuchal cord. diagnosis in Ny. H is G2P1A0 Gravida term Inpartu Kala II
intrauterine fetus Single Living With Shoulder dystocia. A potential problem of maternal
postpartum hemorrhage, uterine rupture, extensive perineal tears. potential problems in the fetus
are fetal distress, asphyxia, fractures clavikula and death. The immediate need is to do the
management of shoulder dystocia. Planning and implementation of care with Mc.Robert
maneuver. Evaluation of the mother is in good health, the maternity went smoothly, there were
no potential problems and the baby is in good condition and healthy.

The conclusion of the research is that Intranatal Midwifery Care in Ny. H Age 25 Years G2P1A0
Gravida term Inpartu Kala II Single Living intrauterine fetus with shoulder dystocia in BPM Ny. E
Pameungpeuk District Garut regency period from March 2016, the state of Ny. H in a healthy state,
and the implementation of midwifery care intranatal in Ny. H. Advice for mothers to maintain their
health by maintaining a good diet, taking care of personal hygiene, and the rest, so that the mother
can care for her baby properly.
