Analysis of Market Data

After analysing the data acquired by conducting various surveys and open houses with our potential customers, we
realized that there isn’t a dearth of Racing Aficionados and that there is a substantial market gap in the Racing
sector. Our car, Pegasus Ayaan, would cater to the Amateur and the Semi-Professional category of racers. Pegasus
Ayaan will bridge the gap between the Kart and the Formula 3 car.

Company Strategy
Constant investment in R&D leading to innovation in design, along with implementation of cost-effective
methodologies in manufacturing and assembly is the company’s USP. With the help of proactive Government
policies such as Make in India; In-house manufacturing and assembly of the vehicle have been efficiently organised.
The company strategizes to foray into the European Market by Acquiring a European Company. This entry level

Vehicle Strategy & Performance

Pegasus Ayaan’s major performance emphasis is on acceleration. Our decision to opt for 10 inch wheels and
tires, will help us in this cause. The Limited Slip Differential and Launch Control, allows lesser slippage and more
traction, ultimately providing higher performance. Carbon fibre is the material used, which will reduce weight,
thereby making Pegasus Ayaan, the perfect open-cockpit race car given the price point. The car also boasts an
indigenous electronic gear shifter using solenoids, making it highly cost effective. Our car’s features, along with
its competitive pricing, will help our car’s pitch to the masses.

Plans for Efficient Design (and Manufacture)

The company always strives to Improve design, to facilitate cost effectivity and also Implement better industrial
engineering practices to reduce lead time. By embracing Just in Time (JIT); Outsourcing some of the components
to manufacturing facilities in close proximity to The Pegasus Factory, we can ensure quality in production.
Collaboration with ‘Local R&D labs’ in Europe as well as India to achieve an efficient design, and implementation
of management concepts like 5S and Kaizen will help sustainable increase in productivity of our Assembly plant
in Coimbatore, India.
