**Veuve Clicquot Yellow Label Brut NV Reims/Champagne France 22

A remarkably good French Champagne with aromas of baked apple. This has yeasty, baked flavors that
are combined with apples and a bit of pear. It's a dry wine that's also fairly rich and robust.

Dalfarras Prosecco 2016 Nagambie VIC 13

Vibrant and deliciously zesty with a fine spritz, Dalfarras 2016 Prosecco with its core of zippy lemon/citrus

musk and spice, the frizzante style palate echoes these sensations, creating a refreshing, fruity wine experience.

Dalfarras Pinot Grigio 2016 Nagambie VIC 13

Award winning 2016 Pinot Grigio is bright and appealing, with delightful citrus blossom, nashi pear and orange peel
characters, finishing with a juicy acidity, vibrant stone fruits and a touch of spice – delicious with grilled seafood’s

Tahbilk Marsane 2016 Nagambie VIC 13

A perfect Summer Wine for Wine Lovers, Lilting aromas of wild fennel at start then a swell of white peach
and Spring he rbs flow through a supple, softly-textured palate - thanks to some judicious lees contact – before
a snap of tangy salinity and a long, complex finish.

Chaffey Bros. Wine Co. Dufte Punkt (OR) 2015 Angaston/ Barossa SA 13

fruit, lots of spice, some great earthy notes and plenty of minerality

The generous round palate is a wash with sweet cherry and plum flavours overlaying savory silky fine tannins and a
smooth textural long finish.

Georg Breuer One of the most desired Riesling we can ever try, everything is interwoven in a perfect harmony and yet

harmonious, filigree overall work of art. In the mouth, the complexity continues unabated. Dry and slender stylistics
with a juicy, crystal-clear peach fruit and an almost brutally profound mineral.

This Tyrell’s Semillon is one of the best known varietals in the Hunter Valley region with UK wine writer calling it
"Australia's unique gift to the world". Young semillons tend to be quite racy with lemon-lime aromas and flavours that
develop into more toasty, honeyed characters with age.
A classic Hunter Valley semillon showing a tightly structured palate with considerable length and breadth of citrus fruit
flavours. With age this wine displays a toasty, bottle aged complexity.

Giaconda Estate Vineyard 2010 Beechwotrh VIC 229

It’s in the region of Beechworth, located northeast of Melbourne, in the foothills of the Victorian Alps. Giaconda is the
key winery responsible for putting Beechworth on the wine map. Mechanical engineer Rick Kinzbrunner first planted
vines here in 1982, and these vines were added to gradually over the following years. Recent plantings have taken the
total up to 6 hectares, but demand still far outstrips supply for these sought-after wines. Debut vintage was 1985,
released in 1987.
2010 Chardonnay a prime example is Giaconda from the high Ovens Valley in Victoria, made in tiny quantities and
difficult to run to earth. This is the sort of wine Americans call funky, i.e. far from the production-line technical
perfection that is the Australian norm.

Burgundy White,France
White Burgundy may just be the Helen of Troy of Chardonnay because nearly everyone who’s ever made Chardonnay
has looked towards white Burgundy as the golden standard. All in all, white Burgundy is just Chardonnay, but the
region is also the origin place of the variety, which is by the way, worlds most planted grape. In Burgundy, the
combination of climate, land and tradition produce a wine that is coveted by many and never precisely replicated
anywhere else. Burgundy has 4 quality levels:

The domaine of Marc Bredif is one of the most famous names in the Loire, renowned for the longevity andquality of
his Vouray. Established in 1893 under the name of Chateau les Roches it wasn't until 1919 when Marc Bredif took over
from his uncle, that the name was changed to mark the change of ownership. The ethereal
Chenin Blanc from Marc Bredif remains a benchmark for the region; delicious, nervy and vividly sketched
when young it morphs into an infinitely complex wine with age taking on characters of dried honey, lanolin and
valvados, still with that ceramic-like sheen of minerally acidity

Cabernet Sauvignon
Cabernet Sauvignon’s origins can be traced back to France’s Bordeaux region. It reaches its pinnacle on the gravel soils
of the Medoc that’s not only when Cabernet Sauvignon came to Australia with James Busby, and it soon became
apparent that this red grape was ideally suited to Australian conditions.
Early records show that by the end of the 19th century it had spread to South Australia’s Clare, Barossa, Victorias
Yarra valley and Coonawarra regions as well as Great Western and. In the 21st century Cabernet Sauvignon is
considered one of Australia’s great red wines and is widely grown all over the country, from the cool climate
of Tasmania to some ideally sited vineyards in Western Australia. There is a wide range of Australian Cabernet
Sauvignon styles and regional characters, from elegant, medium-bodied examples through to full-bodied reds full of
intense black fruit flavours, with oak to match and firm tannins.

"Backward, powerful, and extremely tannic, the dense purple-colored 2003 Mouton-Rothschild, a blend of 76%
Cabernet Sauvignon, 14% Merlot, 8% Cabernet Franc, and 2% Petit Verdot, fashioned from yields of 28
hectoliters per hectare, with a finished alcohol of 12.9%, improves dramatically with aeration. With full-bodied,
meaty, powerful, dry flavors as well as a huge finish, this high class wine should be at its finest between 2012-
2040+. During its sojourn in barrel, it reminded me of a hypothetical blend of the 1982 and 1986 Moutons, but
since bottling, it appears different, and even more tannic than those two vintages”

THE STORY OF GRANGE

In 1957, MaxSchubert was asked to show his efforts in Sydney to top management, invited wine
identities and personal friends of the board. To his horror and humiliation the Grange experiment
was universally disliked. Even further tastings in Adelaide resulted in negative opinion. One critic
observed, 'Schubert, I congratulate you. A very good, dry port, which no one in their right mind will
buy – let alone drink.' Embarrassed, angry and dejected, Max Schubert's ambitions to make 'a great
wine that Australians would be proud of' were completely destroyed. Grange was dead.

It was the happenstance of distance between senior management in Sydney and winemakers in
Adelaide, 1,400 kilometres apart, which saved Grange. With the help of Magill's assistant general
manager Jeffrey Penfold Hyland and Schubert's team of winemakers, all the experimental Grange
was hidden in the underground cellars of Magill and from 1957 to 1959, the 'hidden Granges' were
made without the knowledge of the Penfolds board. Max Schubert continued to source fruit and
make his experiments in secret.

Although management was kept away, friends and associates were occasionally brought in to taste
the wines. Some bottles were even given away. Although considered uncommercial in 1957, news
was filtering out about Schubert's unique Grange Hermitage. A second tasting with the same board
members was organised of the 1951 and 1955 vintages, both with bottle age development, were
greeted with enthusiasm (the 1955 went on to have a very successful wine show career). The
Penfolds board ordered production of Grange to restart, just in time for the 1960 vintage. During
the 1960s Grange firmed its position as Australia's most distinguished wine. The rest is history. It
marked the beginning of a 'dynasty of wines' that would capture the imagination of the Australian
wine consumer.
