Introduction (warmer activity + teacher introduction/demonstration of small group activities

I will introduce to the students what we are going to learn. “Today we are going to learn about
factors and multiplies” then I will use the pieces of cork and I will ask one students to use them

questions on yellow box and LA students will solve the questions on red box.
Independent Experience (small group activity 1): finding the factors

I will put 5 different envelopes in each group and they will have to write the multiplies of each
timetable on the circle paper then they will glue them together to create a caterpillar.

This activity is differentiated based on student’s levels:

Mastered level: They will have to find the multiplies of timetable 8-9.

Developing level: They will have to write the first 7 multiplies of time table 7.

Emerging level: They will have multiplication scheme to find timetable 6 multiplies.
