The teacher will start the lesson by playing lucky spinner with the students. The teacher will pick a
student to answer a random question after spinning the wheel. The spinner contain revision and
refreshing questions like (what the value of is (4) 1437 / 9x9= / round 328 to the nearest hundred.

Then the teacher will explain the first example (Fatima and Asma went to game hall. They played 4
games, each game coast 3 AED, what is the total?) the teacher will draw an array to explain the
operation then she will tell them that they can find from the multiplication operation a division
operation.

Each group will have a poster with 4 operations without number, the teacher will write to them
three numbers, for example 35, 7,5. They will make two multiplication and division operations.
Each time the students change the numbers and write different numbers till all the group
members complete their turn.

This activity is differentiated based on student’s levels:

Mastered level: They will have numbers from table 8-9.

Developing level: They will have numbers from table 7-6.

Emerging level: They will have numbers from table 5-4.

Extension for early finishers: They will complete the book exercises on page 137.

In the closing time, I will retell the students what we have taken. ‘Today we learned about the
