Week One
The first week of the teaching practice was about
introducing myself to the MST, tell her that I will
cover 50% of the teaching process, decide together
about what I will teach in the remaining period that I
will be in the school. Further, I will introduce myself
to the students, and get to know each student and
their level abilities, to know what I have to do with
them in the activities.
Day 2 In this day the students will write about letter /a/
- Emergent: They will write the letter using playdough.
- Developing: They will write the letter using blocks.
- Mastered: They will write the letter using white board and marker.
Day 3 In this day the students will identify words that start with letter /a/
- Emergent: Color the pictures that start with the sound A
- Developing: Find the pictures that start with the sound A
- Mastered: Matching the pictures that start with the sound and the letter.
Day 4 In this day the students will have review of the letter /a/
- Emergent: Students will classify the letters.
- Developing: Students will find the picture that start with the sound A
- Mastered: Students will draw something start with the sound A

Day 5 IN COLLEGE
Week Two
I started this week on 14th of October by targeting two lessons, which are a letter (t) and from head to
toe story. we start to teach in the second week since my MST suggest that it is better to get know the
students very well and know their levels of the learning. Moreover, to see her routine and followed it,
so the students will not be confused. Thus, this week I did lots of activities based on the student’s level
ability.
MAIN ACTIVITIES
LO –
Students will be able to recognize letter /T/
Students will be able to know how to write letter /T/
Students will learn vocabulary that start with letter /T/, such as teddy, tiger, TV, train, tree and turtle.
- I introduced to the students what we are going to learn. ‘Today we are going to learn a new sound
and you have to tell me what do you think it is’.
- Then, I will put for the students a song that shows the students the sound of the letter T, and I will
let them to sing together.

- After that, I will introduce the lesson by using a mystery box, that includes objects that start with
letter T such as (Teddy bear, TV, Tiger, turtle, train)
- Then, I will ask the students to guess what is inside the box by giving them a hint and then they have
to guess the name of the objects that is start with letter T.
Emergent:
- Students will have a bowl that has different pictures, and they have to find the picture that start
with sound T, then stick it to the big paper.
Developing
- Find the picture that start with sound /T/ with matching it with the clips.
Students will have a card, in this card has 4 pictures and the name of each picture. Students will
have to match the clip that has the same word to the same picture.
As an example, if they found the clip that start with the word tiger, they have to match it with
the picture tiger.
Mastered
- Find the letter T between all the other letters.
Students will try to find the letter /t/ between the other alphabet.
Day 2
Provide for the student’s different activities that is about writing letter T which are:
Emergent:
- Write letter (t) using blocks.
Developing
- Write letter (t) using clip to stamp it on the color.
Mastered
- Write letter (t) on the small white board using markers.

Week Three
In this week the, I taught two lesson which are letter I and a story which is The Very Hungry
Caterpillar.
MAIN ACTIVITIES
Letter I:
In the end of the lesson students will be able.
- Say the sound of the letter /I/
I will show them a video that is about doing movements and I will let them to do it

Moreover, I will point out to the title of the story and the author, then I will say that we are going to read the
story and it is called “The Very Hungry Caterpillar”

- Children will have a card and playdough, and they have to make a capital/lowercase /i/

- Card that shows many different letters, and the students will have to find the letter /I/ and
make a circle on it.
Mastered
- In the Third activity the child will make an insects crown, by cutting the eye and color it, then
stick it to the crown, and stick the horns of the insect in the top of the crown.

Week Four
In this week the, I taught two lesson which are letter /Pp/ and a story which is Polar bear polar bear what do
you hear?.
MAIN ACTIVITIES
Letter P:
In the end of the lesson students will be able:
- Say the sound of the letter P
- Know three different words that start with the sound P
First I will show the students some videos about some three words which is (penguin, pirate and popcorn )
after that I will show them a box and asks them if they know what is inside the box, then I will show them
the three items that indicate each word and explain each word in Arabic.
After that we will play game which is passing the items to each other and say the word, I will do that for the
three items. Then I show them the words and change the first letter color, so that will let them to focus on
the letter, I tells them that the three new words start with letter P and tells them the sound.
After that, I will put letter P song, so they sing with the video and do the action of letter P, after showing
them the video, I will show them how to write the letter P, and give each students a board and marker to
write in their board with me, and show me, how they write it.
Explains the activities and show them how to do it, an example of it.
First I introduce the story to the children, let them see the first page, and know the writer of the story and
the illustrator.

Week Five
In this week the, I taught two lesson which are letter /N/ and a story which is Handa’s surprise:
MAIN ACTIVITIES
Letter N:
In the end of the lesson students will be able.
- Students will be able to:
- Say the sound of the letter N/n
- Know different words that start with the sound N/n (Nest- Night- Nurse- Nose – Number Nine)
Do some movements with the students to make them focus in the lesson After that:
I will show the students a picture of the letter N/n, I play a song about the letter, to take their attention

Then, I will tell the students a story with picture which is (Meet sound N/n)
This story will introduce the letter n and the sound for the children:
First I will tell them that letter N is a nurse at the alphabet Hospital, and its time for letter n to go to work at
the hospital, and then these is two doors in the hospital that demonstrate letter n and m and the children
should point at the door where can he enter the hospital, then I will ask them which one looks like letter n ?
Then they have to help letter n to write in his hat letter n by their figures so they will do it, then the letter n
will be happy. After that the frog will come to the hospital and they have to help him by saying the sound of
the letter n and put a to make him feel good.
After that story, I will play with the children to find the hidden letter, so they have to find the letter n
between the picture.
After that game I will show the students the three words that start with sound (N) which are nurse, nest,
night. and then I will ask them to give me words that start with the sound n, and I will point my figure in my
nose, so they will say nose, then I will point the number 9 and they will say number 9.
After that I will play with the students the hidden pictures which include the three pictures nurse, nest,
night.
Handa’s surprise:
Show the students how we can hold the book, from left to right, then show them from we can read
from top to down, and show them the name of the author and the illustrator.

Week Six
This was the last week in the school, and we only attend in Sunday As my MCT said, and in this week I
review three letters with the students which are /i/ /p/ /t/

MAIN ACTIVITIES
Review the letters /i/ /P/ /t/ :
In the end of the lesson students will be able.
- Recognize the sounds of the letters /Ii/ /Pp/ /Tt/
- Recognize the words that start with the sounds /Ii/ /Pp/ /Tt/

In the begging of the lesson:
Do some movements to let them active.
I will put an alphabet song for the children to sing together.

- I will:
- Bring a mystery box for the students that include the letters /Ii/ /Pp/ /Tt/?
- Stick each letter in front of the students.
- Find the objects that start with the sounds /Ii/ /Pp/ /Tt/ and place them beside the letters.
- Students will:
- Guess what inside the box
- Think of words that start with these sounds/Ii/ /Pp/ /Tt/
- Help the teacher to place the objects in the right place.
Developing
- I will choose the letters, and the students should find the pictures.
Students will have a sheet that has different pictures and they have to put the bottoms on three
pictures that start with the same sound.

- Students will have a game which is ( I spy with my little eyes)
Each student will have different color of a playdough
Dice that shows the letters /I/ /P/ /T/
Sheet that has different pictures
Students will have to throw the dice and see what the letter that shows the dice they have to find
the picture based on the letter that is in the dice.

In the end of the activity we will see the winner of this game based on the colors of the
playdough.
