Phrasal verbs

Phrasal verbs are verbs formed by a verb and a preposition or a verb and two prepositions.
They have different meanings from the original of the separate parts.
Get over  recover from
Put away  keep in the right place Sometimes a preposition is also
called an adverb particle
They can be transitive and intransitive
Intransitive: no object manages to live
