    This study examined the effect of earnings quality on cost of debt and cost of equity using companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange from 2005 to 2011. The authors found that higher quality earnings were associated with lower cost of debt and cost of equity. Earnings quality was measured using several accrual quality metrics. The study included 70 companies over a 7 year period and was authored by researchers from the University of Indonesia.
