In the transaction where you are facing the problem, select from menu

Help->support Desk: -

Short text: - Brief Description of the Problem

Priority: - Assign a priority to the message e.g. low, medium

 In the ‘Long Text’ area, provide the complete detail of the problem you are facing.

And press send Button

There is no change in the steps as explained above.

In the second screen, following drop down will appear once you click on Module.

Here in Module Choose “P$” from the drop down which denotes Pricing Problems.

Contact phone & contact email are mandatory. Example of email is like xxx@indianoil.in
Fill in the details correctly and press OK.

In this new screen

Put User ID and Password as explained below:-

For Example:-

For Plant code 1271, USER ID will be PN1271 Where P stands for Pricing, N stands for North and 1271
will be key user plant code

Similarly for other plant codes, it will work as under

PYnnnn – P- for pricing, Y for region (eg, N-north, E-east, W-west, S-south, H-HO etc.), whereas nnnn
is for the user plant code in SAP

With the same USER ID and Password , Key user may view the status of problem in T code YSM.

On first time login, the system will ask for a new password.

Set the password same as the user id.


Example: For user id PN1000 password is PN1000. (CAPITAL letters).

Note: Do not change password later on. If any issue is faced write to basis@indianoil.in or call 0124-
2451305, 6

You will get a confirmation and a message no. Note the Message no. For future tracking of message

Checking the Status of any Existing Message

1. Run TCode YSM in SAP ERP R3 System and click on URL

Once logged in, have a look on available messages under various statuses in Overview.

You can view the status of the incidents, reply back to the processor and confirm the incidents if
solution has been proposed.
