Theory 69

The meaning of homeopathic

consultation

Preparation of the homeopath

Patient visits an homeopath because he suffers.

No matter how much an homeopath is prepared he will

fail in some cases.

The physician must prepare his inner self. This inn

er preparation will provide the

confidence the patient needs to have for his doctor

The enthusiasm will make the doctor seek for more i

nformation and investigate

further.

The desire to help other people is the most signifi

cant element the physician must

have.

The egotistical attitude of the healer may interfer

e with his job and jeopardize it.

Even in the simplest cases he must be afraid that h

e might fail.

Placebo effect can occur during homeopathic treatme

nt when the homeopath is

really concerned about his patient.

The homeopath must not reveal his feeling to the pa

tient.

The sentimental attachment to the patient can affec

t the judgment of the physician

towards him and fail in the evaluation of the case

and the prescription.

Sympathizing can increase the placebo effect. The d

octor must retain this feeling.

The homeopath must always have an open mind to lear

n and listen.

The homeopath must be an all-around educated person

The homeopath must not give advice to the patient i

f it doesn’t concern the
