1. PROFILE
1. History
Persyarikatan Muhammadiyah which is devoted to preaching in the fields of
education and health, requires health workers, especially doctors to mobilize health
care institutions spread throughout the archipelago. Therefore in March 1993, the
Muhammadiyah Central Leadership established the UMY Medical Faculty to educate
prospective doctors. Along with the increasing needs of other health workers in the
community, the 2000 Nursing Study Program, 2004 Dentistry and Pharmacy were
established in 2010. With a variety of study programs, the Medical Faculty of UMY
changed its name to the Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences, and educational
programs Medicine became a Study Program under FKIK UMY in 2010.
In 2002 FK UMY's Medical Education Program was accredited by the National
Education Ministry's National Education and Training Agency BAN with
Classification of Accreditation B. In 2015 it again won accreditation from the
Independent Accreditation Institute for Health Universities (LAM-PTKes). Based on
the results of the latest accreditation, the Medical Study Program (Bachelor) has B
Accreditation Classification, while the Professional Profession Study Program
(Profession) has A.
Accreditation Classification.Various grant programs that have greatly helped the
development of FK and FKIK UMY are the A2 Competition Grant Program from Dikti,
the Inherent K1 Grant for information technology development and the Medical
Education Quality Improvement Program (PKPD) Grant Program for 2011-2013
obtained from the World Bank-DIKTI.
2. Vision
In 2020 the Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences is well-managed, based on
Islamic values, able to compete at the National level and be recognized at the
international level

2. PURPOSE
General purpose
Produce graduates who are professional, Islamic, able to develop science and
technology in the fields of medicine and health for the welfare of the Indonesian people
and Muslims, and be able to compete at the global level

Special purpose

1. Organizing educational, research and community service activities in the field of


medicine and health independently, with good governance and evidence-based

4. FACILITIES
a. LIBRARY
In supporting student learning, in addition there is an integrated library located in
the KH Building. Mas Mansyur 3rd Floor Muhammadiyah University of Yogyakarta,
Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences also has its own library that provides books
on medicine, nursing, journals and other literature related to health. The library located
in the G floor of the Ground floor serves students from 07.30 - 21.00 WIB.
b. COURSE ROOM
The Medical Study Program has 3 amphi theaters as lecture halls that can
accommodate around 200 students. In addition, there are also 15 tutorial rooms that are
used for small group discussion activities in which one group consists of 10-15
students.
c. LABORATORY
The Medical Study Program has several laboratories to support student learning,
namely the Anatomy, Clinical Pathology, Biochemistry, Microbiology, Parasitology,
Physiology, Pharmacology, Histology and Pathology Anatomy laboratories. Besides
that there is also a clinical laboratory (skill lab).

5. NEW STUDENT ADMISSION (PENMARU)
Penmaru is a new student admission for students who are want to register in
Medical Faculty of UMY. If you want to become a student at the public university,
prospective students must register first. Following are the ways to register in FKIK

B. Selection Requirement
 Test
There are two types of entrance tests conducted by Muhammadiyah University of
Yogyakarta, namely:
 Paper Based Test (PBT)
Paper Based Test (PBT) Selection tests are held using written questions on a
sheet of paper. PBT is carried out in four waves. Prospective students can
choose two study programs from all study programs at UMY. Prospective
students can attend PBT for a maximum of four times. Registrants in one
wave are limited to a maximum of 2,000 participants.
PBT Registration Procedure:
1. Fill out the registration form
2. Pay the registration fee of Rp. 400,000, -
3. Complete the form by attaching: Photocopy of high school / equivalent
report card (for those who are still in class XII) or a high school /
equivalent diploma (for those who have graduated); 2 pieces of black and
white photo size 3 × 4.
4. Registration is done at the UMY Admission Bureau or can be done online
at penmaru.umy.ac.id
 Computer Based Test (CBT)
The test service, known as One Day Service, is a computer-based new student
admission test. Prospective students come to register and immediately do a
test which results can be known after the test. The test was conducted at the
University of Muhammadiyah Yogyakarta Campus and prospective students
could choose two study programs from all study programs at Muhammadiyah
University in Yogyakarta. Each prospective student can attend CBT for a
maximum of four times during the registration period. Registration is closed at
any time after the quota is fulfilled.
CBT Registration Procedure:
1. Prospective students go to the Penmaru Information Counter at the
Admission Bureau to collect the Registration
2. Identity Form Fill out the Registration Identity
3. Form Registration requirements, namely:
-Pay the registration fee of Rp. 400,000,
-Photocopy of high school / equivalent report cards (for those who are still
in class XII) or a high school / equivalent diploma (for those who have
graduated)
-Black and white photo size 3 x 4 in 2 pieces.

General provisions for taking the test path (PBT and CBT):
1. In the registration form, students are entitled to choose 2 study programs.
2. Applicants for Medical Education and Dentistry Education study programs
are graduates of high school / MA majoring in science in 2017, 2018 and
2019.
3. The Pharmacy study program only accepts high school / MA students in
science and pharmacy secondary schools (SMF).
4. Special Nursing Study Program, height 155 cm for men and 150 cm for
girls.
5. The study program in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering,
Electrical Engineering, and Agrotechnology only accepts high school
students from science majors or from Exact Sciences majors.
6. The Electromedical Engineering (D3) study program only accepts high
school students from science majors or from exact science majors.
 Achievement
- Acceptance Based on Interest and Capability (PMDK)
PMDK is intended for all class XII high school / vocational / MA or equivalent
students who will graduate in 2019, who have interests or abilities in certain fields.
Initial selection is based on academic achievement in class X s.d XII (semester 1 dd
5) with a minimum average score of 7.0.
- Outstanding Student Acceptance (PSB)
PSB is intended for students who have achievements in various fields such as sports,
arts, culture, reasoning (eg Olympics, Scientific Work, Debates, etc.). The
achievement in question is having been a champion or finalist in various competitions
at the national or provincial or district level in the last 3 years.
- Acceptance of Superior Seedlings (PBUP)
PBUP is intended for Muhammadiyah Young Generation students who are active in
autonomous organizations within the Muhammadiyah persyarikatan scope such as the
Muhammadiyah Student Association (IPM), Tapak Suci, or Hizbul Wathan in the last
3 years.
- Acceptance Based on the Value of the National Final Examination (PNUAN)
PNUAN is intended for class XII high school / vocational / MA students, or those
who have successfully taken the National Final Examination (UAN) and achieved a
minimum average score of 7.0. To enter international class study programs, the value
of English is at least 7.5.
General Pathway Provisions:
1. Students who are sitting in class XII (twelve) high school / vocational /
MA or equivalent.
2. The Medical Education and Dentist Education study programs only accept
high school / MA students majoring in science.
3. The Pharmacy study program only accepts high school / MA students in
science or pharmacy high school (SMF).
4. Specifically for Nursing Science Study Program (PSIK), a minimum
height of 155 cm for men and 150 cm for girls.
5. The study program in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering,
Electrical Engineering, and Agrotechnology only accepts high school
students from science majors or from Exact Sciences majors.

o Legalized copy of high school UAN score (specifically for PNUAN Line)
o Recent photos
o Copy of certificate of proof of non-academic achievements
o Letter of recommendation from the local Muhammadiyah leadership
(specifically PBUP Line)
o Active certificate of management from the head of the organization

1. Control Activities
Actions that are established through policies and procedures that help ensure that
management directives to reduce risks to the achievement of objectives are carried out.
Control activities are carried out at all levels of the entity, at various stages in business
processes, and over the technological environment.

2. Risk Assessment

Risk Assessment is management's process of identifying risks and rating the


likelihood and impact of a risk event. An internal control assessment can be performed at
the same time. This takes the risk assessment and maps internal controls to the risks to
determine if there are gaps between risks and controls. Risk assessment involves a dynamic
and repetitive process for identifying and analyzing risks related to organization goals. The
risks faced by organizations can be internal or external. Risk assessment is the basis of how
the organization's risk will be managed. Management must clearly set goals in the
operations, reporting and compliance categories so that the associated risks can be
