Description Technical Information

The relay is of the attracted armature type. The L-shaped
armature operating the self-reset contacts directly. The element Rating
is basically an undervoltage device fitted with a rectifier and has 63.5V, 110V and 240V AC
‘pick-up’ and ‘drop-off’ levels of 40 and 20% respectively.

Applications
Operating Time
The type B68 relay meets the requirements of the British 30ms
Generating Board for automatic voltage-selection at mesh
substations. The relay is V.T. operated and automatically switches Contact Arrangement
the check-synchronising equipment in and out of circuit. 2M2B, 4M2B or 4B

Wiring Diagram Making and carrying a maximum of 1500VA AC or 1500W DC
within the under mentioned limits.

Current : 3A continuously
8A for 3 seconds
or 16A for 1 seconds
Breaking 300VA AC or 75W DC (inductive) within the limits of
