For this year’s Kasadyaan Festival featuring the mythical and
legendary birds, the College of Education and the College of Business Administration clinched the gold for Gabi-i sa Pasundayag and the Kasadyaan Parada, respectively.
Portraying the thunderbird, the College of Education staged
an electrifying number during the Gabi-i sa Pasundayag last December 7 at the Sofia Soller Sinco Hall. The said college also garnered awards such as: the Most Entertaining Contingent, the Most Creative Presentation, Best Star Performer, Best Interpretation of the Theme, Best Pasundayag 2018 Choreographer and the Best in Choreography.
Following the College of Education was the College of
Business Administration (Sarimanok) and the Senior High School Department (Kinara) for the second and third places, respectively. The Senior High School Department also won awards namely: the Most Colorful Contingent and the Best in Costume.
Meanwhile, the College of Business Administration - this
year’s champion for the Kasadyaan Parada delivered a very colorful and moving presentation in their portrayal of the Philippine mythical bird, Sarimanok. The contingent also won the Best Illuminated Lantern, Best in Choreography and the Most Creative Arch.
Following the rank were the College of Hospitality
Management (Swan Maiden) and the College of Nursing (Alicanto) for the second and third places, respectively. College of Hospitality Management won the Best Interpretation of the Theme. Special awards were also given to Agriculture, Criminology and Engineering as the Most Artistic/Creative Contingent and the College of Computer Studies with the Best in Banner Design.
