Explanation Letter of Source of Fund

Dear Sir or Madam:

I am writing this letter to explain the source of funds I have for my study in Canada.

My father is a respected retired Government service holder and my mother is a house wife. My
father has purchased FDR from Reliance Finance Limited amount BDT 29,00,000 lacks on
16-10-2017 which was matured on 16-10-2018. He saved this amount from his employment
time and paid tax as well. After maturity, this BDT 29,00,000 lacks has been transferred at
Dutch Bangla Bank’s savings account through Mercantile Bank from Reliance Finance Ltd.
BDT 8,00,000 lacks transferred from Bangladesh Bank Karmachari Samabay Rindan Samity
Limited. And BDT 3,43,000 lacks came from my father’s gratuity.

Interest of the FDR went to Bangladesh Bank Karmachari Samabay Rindan Samity Limited
account every month. This institution is under government’s Department of Cooperatives. This
was my father’s employee account where he received his salary and other benefits, this account
is maintained from long time.

I have submitted my documents for the study permit on 14th June 2018. And my application
was rejected due to some reason. One of the reason was personal assets and financial status. At
the first time of my application total cash was about BDT 30,96,200 lacks. This time I am
applying with BDT 40,43,000 lacks. So, the extra BDT 10,00,000 lacks has been accumulated
from interest of the FDR, Rent and Cooperative Society Coupon (BDT 3,82,000 lacks).

Also, I am showing X Vori of Gold which is worth of almost BDT 15, 00,000. For my mistake,
I couldn’t show this Gold in CA evaluation report with my first application. Due to short time
my father could not make six months bank statement so I am applying with one month bank
statement from Dutch Bangla Bank. For your clarification, I am submitting all three statements
there you can see how money transferred in Dutch Bangla Bank Savings account.

This amount BDT 40,43,000 is solely deposited for my study purpose. My family has no
problem regarding financial matter. My father has enough income to run our family and if I
need any financial help during my study in Canada my father can support me. My father has
now monthly income around BDT 1,40,000 lacks from house rent and warehouse rent. Also,
we have some empty land to build shop for renting. My elder brother has been working as an
officer at Bangladesh Bank. My father’s savings (Liquid money) is enough to cover my full
tuition fee and living expenses during my stay in Canada.

Please accept my sponsor and his source of fund. If you need further documents and
explanations please contact me.

Sincerely Yours

MD ATIQUL HAQUE

Explanation on Previous Visa Rejection

Dear Sir or Madam:

I am writing this letter to explain the reasons of re-applying for the study permit for January
2019 intake. I had applied for Master of Global Management for fall 2018 intake in June 14,
2018 but my application was rejected for the following reasons.

1. You have not satisfied me that you would leave Canada at the end of your stay. In
reaching this decision, I considered several factors, including:
• Purpose of visit
• Employment prospects in country of residence
• Current employment situation
• Personal assets and financial status

2. Your proposed studies are not reasonable in light of your qualifications, previous
studies, level of establishment, limited income, your future prospectus and plans.

Please allow me to clear my justification above mentioned reasons that brought refusal during
my last application.

Purpose of Visit: Master of Global Management is a specialized management program

designed for professionals. As a requirement, I am an eligible candidate for this. And I have
good reasons for choosing this program. After working more than two years in a service sector
I fell to have a Master’s degree on management to be promoted in senior management level.

I got promoted as a Senior Business Executive from Business Development officer. In this role,
I have to focus and analyse different tasks. I need to go through different issues like product
promotion, interfering with stakeholders like law enforcement agency, bank & insurance and
making strategy for product selling to customer retention also co-ordinating with every
departments for smooth running of the business. From this job, I have learned to adapt with
different tasks effectively and leading the team for various tasks. So, this job is helping me to
increase my organizing skills. I want to use this experience in Global Management Program
for better learning of management and other business knowledge through internship in Canada.
So, this learning experience will create ample opportunities for me to a higher position in my
country of residence, Bangladesh.

Finally, I want to complete this Master of Global Management program for learning advanced
management tools and techniques. I could choose diploma program but I think spending more
money and time I can get a master degree certificate that would be more valuable for my career.
Therefore, I wish to pursue this course from Canada.

Employment prospects in country of residence & current employment situation: On

previous application, I had written study plan where I did not clarify properly the employment
prospects in Bangladesh for foreign degree holders. As I already have foreign degree from the
UK that had good impact on the job market for me. I have received many interview calls from
banks, local and multinational companies. Recently, I got a call to join in Ranks Asset
Management Company as an Investment Analyst. So, it is true that a foreign degree holder is
much more welcomed in Bangladesh job market.

Now, I am working as Senior Business Executive in X Company, Export & Import oriented
business pursuing to be a market leader in Travelling Goods. Here in this job, we are working
to establish the “MAX” brand in the local market. So, I have a good career in this company.
From this job, I can switch in any organization with higher position and remuneration. This
MGM degree will have good value in my career progression in Bangladesh.

Personal assets and financial status: In my last application, I showed liquid fund of BDT
29,00,000 in the form of FDR and BDT 1,96,000 in the form of savings account. But I did not
provide any Gold purchase receipts that my family bought at different times. Neither I had idea
that gold can be shown as asset. This time I am showing around BDT 1500000 worth of gold
receipts that we have and all about gold information you will find in my attached gold receipts.

This time I am applying with total cash BDT 40,86,483 which is transferred from FDR after
its maturity from Reliance Finance Ltd and my father’s Employee account at (Bangladesh
Karmachari Rindan Samabay Somitte Ltd). My father received all his salary and other benefits
in this account. The total money is legitimate and taxable as well.

My father is now retired person but he has property where he has built four storied building in
our village and has rented two warehouses in Dhaka. From this my father receives almost BDT
1,46,000 per month. Also, we have empty land under my mother name where have a plan to
build house or shop to rent. So, every month my family is getting income from our property.
We do not need to sale any property for any urgency. This amount is enough to run our family
and my elder brother is also working as an Officer in Bangladesh Bank.

Now, I am showing total liquid cash BDT 40,86,483 at Dutch-Bangla Bank Savings Account
that is solely accumulated for my study purpose and it will be used during my stay in Canada.
My family has no problems regarding financial matter. My father’s savings (Liquid money) is
enough to cover my full tuition fee and living expenses.

Considering my previous mistakes and above all mentioned justifications, I request you to grant
me a study permit to obtain the desired course, Master of Global Management degree from
Canada.

Yours truly,

Study Plan

Dear Sir or Madam:

I, Md Atiqul Haque am writing this study plan to express my choice of this program, Master of
Global Management, the career prospects that it will provide me. I have completed my
graduation from University of Central Lancashire, UK with a score of 51% in 2012. I worked
two years in Dhillon Management Service Limited as Admin Assistant. Later, because of my
career progression I completed MSc in Investment & Finance from London South Bank
University with merit (61%) in 2016. I am pleased to have this UK degree and work experience
which I wanted to implement in Bangladesh.

So, I returned in Bangladesh in May, 2016 and started my career in X Company, an Export &
Import business organization, as a Business Development Officer which exposed me to the
dynamics of service sector. I have been working in sales and marketing department for the last
two years. My work has involved me in market research, marketing plan, and monitoring with
the team members as well as client satisfaction. After two years July 2018, the company has
promoted my position as Senior Business Executive. Now, the responsibility is to manage the
team in order to flawless service, co-ordinate with other functions within the company and
developing strategic plan to promote the “MAX” brand in the local markets of Bangladesh. As an
aspiring person, I would like to see myself in senior management level. I fell to have another
degree, focusing on management, from North American region which is well respected in
Bangladesh. So, I decided to study Master in Global management.

After doing rigorous research on different universities, I have found Royal Roads University’s
master program in Global Management that will fulfill my requirements. Studying Master
of Global Management (MGM) at Royal Roads University will abet my quest for excellence in
the field of Management. Global Management is a specialized management degree and combines
knowledge of business, culture and social practices which provides a technology continues to
connect the world in the international business community. This extensive management degree
will put me in a sound track of becoming a successful business manager in multinational
companies. Manager’s responsibility is borderless and immense therefore I want to gain more
academic international business management knowledge to guide myself.

Canada places a great importance on learning and has developed a first-rate education system
with high standards. I think that MGM degree at Royal Roads University in Canada, will be the
most logical extension of my academic pursuits and a major step towards achieving my
objectives.
This global management degree will deepen my competency in international economics,
business strategy, supply chain, international law, international business operation and other
business skills. It will help me to evolve as an expert in operational management and
performance management along with dealing complex issues of business both systematically and
creatively. I will be able to lead and adapt in the rapidly evolving international markets and
further utilizes this cross-cultural expertise which will set me apart from my peers.

Though the management degree is available in Bangladesh, but the concentrations are offered
mostly in the fields of local business issues. This MGM program is extensively focused in
solving international business problems during the course. Thereby it requires to access in
different database for obtaining information. Through this program, I will take part in internship
opportunity in Canada that will involve myself in the real business case studies. I personally have
considered many factors while choosing to study in Canada. For instance, the individual
attention that professors pay to the graduate students, small class size at graduate level, good
academic and research facilities.

Thus, this MGM degree will be a major addition in my credentials. So, I think the blend of my
academic career will improve my chances to be in a leading role like Chief Operating Officer or
Team Head in both private and public sector in Bangladesh. My job experience made me realize
that in order to break through the glass ceiling I would require specialized management skill set
to be successful in this competitive environment. This MGM program would act as an extra edge
with a better understanding of global market and stakeholder relation.

During my MSc in Investment & Finance in UK, I have studied different modules of finance
such as Asset Fund Management, Portfolio theory & Investment Analysis, International
Financial Management, International Financial Market. I have learned well about financial
theory and applications while I have conducted 15000 words of dissertation in the last semester
of my MSc. The title name is “An Empirical Evaluation of the Performance of the Open-
Ended Mutual Funds in USA from 2006 To 2015”. To compare with my previous (MSc
Investment & Finance) degree, I am highly interested in this MGM degree for an internship
where I can apply my learning skills and experiences in analyzing the business operations and
management practices in Canada.

Above all, I would like to say that I will come back to my home country as I have strong family
and friendship ties. My wife is studying MA in English at Stamford University in Bangladesh.
We both want to build our career in Bangladesh. Moreover, my parents have become aged and
they will definitely need my support and care.

Considering my future plan, I request you to grant me a study permit to obtain the desired
course, Master of Global Management degree from Canada.

Kind Regards
MD ATIQUL HAQUE
