I believe there is probable cause to charge the defendant with these charges because:
A/P Tonya Shields was observed driving a vehicle that was involved in multiple mail package thefts. A/P Shields
admitted that she knew her companions were stealing packages and didn't attempt to stop what was happening
or alert anyone about what was happening. Victims were able to identify the stolen property in the vehicle. And
identified a pair of sunglasses that Tanya had been wearing as stolen. A/P Shields stated the vehicle she was
driving was her vehicle. It had a temporary registration in the back window that belonged to a jeep cherokee,
the vehicle Tanya was driving was a Toyota. This temporary registration was verified as stolen and report to
Unified Police under case 18195110. Also inside the vehicle were several packages and pieces of mail that are
attempting to be identified as stolen.
