Sir, You are aware that the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) has been established by an Act of Parliament for proper planning and co-ordinated development, regulation and maintenance of norms and standards in the Technical Education System throughout the country. Consequent upon revision of Pay Scales based on the recommendations of the Central Vth Pay Commission, Govt. of India advised the AICTE to notify the Service Conditions of Teachers in Degree level technical Institutions incorporating the revised pay scales and other related conditions. Accordingly a Notification is hereby issued on revision of Pay Scales and Service Conditions for Teachers etc. in Private Self Financing Degree level Technical Institutions in the country. It is requested that the recommendations containing in the notification may be implemented by all concerned. Items not covered by this notification shall be issued by a separate notification.
