students can enrich their vocabulary and also comprehended the text. The average
score in the first cycle is 72,5 and the second cycle is 79,11.
The conclusion is the implementation of Manual Super Twist Text Game
can improve the students’ english vocabulary. The students also enjoy the game.
ABSTRAKSI
Kosakata merupakan salah satu komponen bahasa dan hal pertama yang
diterapkan oleh ahli bahasa. Para siswa tidak bisa menguasai mendengarkan,
berbicara, membaca dan menulis, jika siswa kurang kosa kata. Mengajar kosakata
adalah bagian utama dalam proses pengajaran bahasa itu sendiri. Bahkan,
pengajaran kosakata masih sulit. Para siswa sering kesulitan untuk memahami
bacaan dalam bahasa Inggris. Kondisi ini terjadi di SMA 1 Jekulo Kudus. Untuk
mengatasi masalah tersebut, guru bahasa Inggris harus menerapkan strategi
pengajaran yang sesuai dalam mengajar. Oleh karena itu, guru harus
menggunakan strategi pengajaran yang sesuai untuk membuat siswa belajar secara
praktis. Sehingga mereka dapat meningkatkan kemampuan kosakata bahasa
inggris mereka. Penggunaan permainan Manual super Putar Teks pada proses
belajar mengajar diharapkan dapat merangsang minat siswa dalam kosakata
bahasa Inggris. Hal ini dapat membantu siswa untuk mengembangkan Kosakata
Bahasa Inggris Siswa.
Game adalah salah satu aktivitas yang menyenangkan, game dapat menjadi
arena competisi bagi murid-murid. Penggunaan Manual Super Twist Text adalah
salah satu jenis game. Cara bermainnya adalah menyusun huruf menjadi kata
berdasarkan jumlah kotak pada waktu yang ditentukan. Game tersebut dimainkan
dalam grup. Grup yang dapat menyusun kata paling banyak, akan menjadi
pemenang.
Penulis melakukan Penelitian Tindakan Kelas untuk memecahkan
masalah. Penelitian ini dilakukan di SMA 1 Jekulo Kudus pada tahun akademik
2014/2015. Penulis hanya mengambil kelas yang terdiri dari 34 siswa. Instrumen

penelitian yang digunakan oleh penulis adalah lembar observasi, tes dan lembar
kuesioner.
Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan permainan Manual
Super Twist Text meningkatkan kosakata bahasa inggris di SMA 1 Jekulo Kudus.
Para siswa dapat memperkaya kosakata mereka dan juga memahami teks. Rata-
rata siklus I adalah 72,5 dan siklus kedua adalah 79,11.
Kesimpulannyaadalah pelaksanaan Pedoman super Putar Teks Permainan
dapat meningkatkan kosa katabahasa Inggrissiswa. Para siswa juga menikmati
permainan.
