Spring 2018 Health Fair at Salgado Community Center
For our Spring health fair, our 47 volunteers were pleased to serve 150 patients. By collaborating with our
providers, VCH was able to provide hypertension, BMI, bone density, glucose, cholesterol, hearing, and
many more screenings and services to help alleviate some of the health disparities within the Vietnamese
and Hispanic communities. This Spring, we also welcomed three new screenings: dermatology,
hemoglobin, and children’s health. We would not have been able to help as many patients as we did
without the support of our providers and collaborators, as well as our volunteers.
