* The calculated ‘P’ values for each variable in Table 9 are greater than the alpha or the
chosen significance level (0.05). The hypothesis therefore, is ACCEPTED. This shows that
there is no significant difference on the respondents’ level of awareness in terms of Penalties
for Violations Committed by Sellers when grouped according to age, gender, employment
status, monthly income, frequency of online shopping experience, and frequency of
internet usage.

The table above gleans that despite the difference on age, gender and employment status of
the respondents, are on the same level of awareness in terms of Penalties for Violations
Committed by Sellers. Additionally, the table shows that the level of awareness of e-consumers
with low monthly income does not differ with the level of awareness of those with high monthly
income. Moreover, regardless of the frequency of online shopping experiences, e-consumers
are on the same level of awareness in terms of Penalties for Violations Committed by Sellers
and likewise with the frequency of internet usage of the e-consumers.
