TED Talk Planning Sheet

 The main presentation should be :04 min long


 Requires an effective, refined script and practiced delivery/presentation.
Title: Think up a descriptive title. Try to be creative if it fits.

Challenge: What challenge/goal/question drove your work?


What did you want to do and why?
What were you attempting to accomplish?
What is your problem, present in today’s world, that will cause a dystopia if no one stops it?
Evidence: What evidence, facts, examples, resources will you use to prove to your viewers that this is a
problem?
Motivation: Talk about your purpose or what the audience should learn from your project. Inspire your
audience with your passion for your pursued activity. What is the future of your project?

Conclusion Include a meaningful “take-away”/reflection for the audience.

In preparation for your presentation, you might want to watch at least two Ted Talks, paying close
attention to their structure, and how they are delivered. Here are links to some good examples:
