Thanks to the Almighty God because of His grace that I am able to give this

speech today and I am proud that once again this year, SRK Sung Siew is able to
organize the excellence award presentation for the year 2018.

First of all, I would like to thank the school management for inviting me to
give this speech in this auspicious occasion. On behalf of all the school board of
members and parents teacher association, I would want to extend a big thank you to
all the teachers for putting forth their efforts into successfully educating the pupils in
this school. It is my hope that through this excellence award giving day that the pupils
are more motivated to achieve excellence both in their academic and also co-
curricular activities.

The excellence award giving day organized each year is a measuring stick to
the pupils’ achievement in their academics as well as co-curricular activities. To the
pupils who managed to perform excellently, Congratulations and keep up. To those
who haven’t, do not give up because the prescriptions for success in any fields are
diligence, hard work and perseverance.

For this year 2018, I am sure that the school together with the partnership of
the teacher parent association certainly had come up with a lot of efforts to motivate
the pupils to achieve excellence in their studies. Among them were extra classes after
school, motivation sessions for students, workshops on answering techniques given by
examiners and incentives which were given to students who achieved excellence
results in academics and co-curricular activities. These kinds of efforts shown that the
school and the teacher-parent association of SRK Sung Siew are constantly taking
steps to increase the pupils’ achievements and are aware of the importance of
motivating them to continuously strive to become the best in all the activities that they
are involved in.

The school board of members are always informed on the achievements of the
school through the media and this is exactly what we aim at doing at Sung Siew
Schools. We wish to make education at our school, a TOTAL experience where
students strive for "A's at academics, participate in all co-curricular activities with
enthusiasm and also actively involve themselves with community at large. All of these
cannot be achieved without strong partnerships from the Church and School Board of
members, Parent-Teacher Association and all the staffs of the school. I therefore, on
behalf of school board of members want to express my utmost gratitude for the
continuous efforts and excellent achievements shown, especially to the leaders of the
schools, teachers and staffs in upholding the standard of education of this school.

It is my hope that this mutual partnership would continue to flourish and that
this school will be able to achieve greater heights in years to come. Thank you.
