The following comments shall be considered for above mentioned documents as following:

1. In “drawing title” and “location” cells, it is stated that this general

arrangement is for tank #1 in “Sharai” site which had been moved to the new Noted and revised accordingly
location in “Al Moghamass”.

2. The sit key plan is for the old site in “Sharai”. Noted and revised accordingly

3. Qiblah direction is wrong due to using wrong site layout. Noted and revised accordingly

As per API-650-12th-Add-2-Jan-2016 Table 5.17 point #2 : The

minimum width of the walkway shall be 610 mm (24 in.), after
making adjustments at all projections.

Refer Mark A1 in tank accessories table for detials of Detail of

Please note that, when the plates to be procured from the plates
manufacturer directly i.e from the mill (and not from the stockiest),
the plate thicknesses shall be ordered as per the desired designed
thickness values since the Mills are capable of manufacturing the
plates with the thicknesses in decimal values & those can be
measured easily with calibrated gauges/ instruments.

All our thickness calculations are in compliance with API 650.

The thickness values cannot be rounded to next higher value of
thickness since the plates tonnage/ weight will increase
significantly.

CONTRACTOR'S ACTION

Metscco is procuring the plates from Plates Manufacturer i.e from a

Mill. The mill tolerance is already considered in the thicknesses.
Plates manufacturer has already acknowledged the receipt of
Metscco Purchase Order with all the technical compliances. Mill
has further complied to Metscco’s clause which states that
‘Negative tolerance in the thickness is not acceptable’.
For your reference, please find attached attachement#1 (Plate
Manufacturers Purchase Order Acknowledgement) with all the
technical compliances.
