Acknowledgement

As my journey for the internship program draws to an end I am overwhelmed with feelings of gratitude
for those who made it possible for me to complete this task.

First and foremost, I would like to thank our God Almighty for giving me the strength and guidance to
lead me onwards until I reach my goals.

I would also like to thank my family and friends for the inspiration, constant motivation and unceasing
support, positive thinking and encouragement all the times.

My special thanks to my internship adviser for instructing us and giving us ideas on what to do in
situations regarding the on the job training.

My further thanks to the staffs and the people to whom I got the opportunity to work with and who
helped to bring the best in me.

Conclusion

The internship opportunity I had with Baliwag Transit Inc. was a great chance for learning and
professional development like. Therefore, I consider myself a very lucky individual as I was provided with
an opportunity to be a part of it. I am also grateful for having a chance to meet so many wonderful
people and professionals who led me through the internship program.

I can honestly say that my time spent internng with Baliwag Transit Inc resulted in one of the best
memories in my life. I felt like I was able to contribute to the company by working on projects
throughout the program like filing of office papers and assisting the persons in charge in preparing and
distributing tickets .

Overall my internship has been a success. I was able to gain practical skills, work in fantastic environment
and make connection that will last a lifetime. I could not be more thankful.

Part III Company's Accounting System

The company uses a computerized accounting system with their networks linked to one another. The
chief accountant will review for the transactions and make necessary entries and prepare checks and
vouchers to be passed to another personnel in charge for posting it to their respective ledger's. And this
will be again passed to the person preparing financial statements to be approve and checked by the
Chief Accountant and the responsible officers. Adjusting entries are done whenever necessary or when
errors are committed.

Receipts

Daily revenue for every bus is deposited to the cashier personnel and to be delivered to the cash and
finance officer who in turn will take charge for the deposits in the banks .

Disbursement.

Payment for small expenses are made out of the petty cash fund to be replenished everytime it is
running out of balance. Major disbursements are made by issuing checks and vouchers .

Purchase

Purchases which involves a huge amount are made by issuing checks.
