Daily Promises of God

for educators Jeremiah 24:6-7

NIV - My eyes will watch over them for their good, and I will bring them back to this land. I
will build them up and not tear them down; I will plant them and not uproot them. I will give
them a heart to know me, that I am the Lord. They will be my people, and I will be their God,
for they will return to me with all their heart.

RSV - I will set my eyes upon them for good, and I will bring them back to this land. I will build
them up, and not tear them down; I will plant them, and not uproot them. I will give them a
heart to know that I am the Lord; and they shall be my people and I will be their God, for they

Note to the educator

God has called out to His people all throughout the Bible to return to Him. He has always
sought their good, and desires that we worship Him with our whole heart. Don’t you just yearn
for your students, colleagues and school community to know the Lord with their whole heart?

The majority of our human connecEons at school are non-believers. We have something so
precious and such a hope for tomorrow that we need to be contagious. We need to walk in a
way that others wonder what makes us Eck. We need to represent ourselves in such a way that
our sphere of influence wants what we have. Let us be always mindful of how we treat each
other, each and every day because they are always watching.
