Event Interviews

It is the goal of this course for students involved in leadership to create activities for the student body and
become a communicative leader on campus. The purpose of this assignment is to understand the point of
view of students at Ripon High School with regards to their positive and/or negative position on activities
held. Plus, it is important to meet and talk to the student body to understand the good aspects behind an
activity and improvements that can be made in the future.

Directions
After student council holds an activity at RHS, each student present in the leadership class will interview
students regarding the activity that was held. You as a student will interview 2 people you know well and
three people that you have never meet at all. A total of five people will be interviewed. Questions will be
asked, written answered will be documented (by you the interviewer), and a 1 page summary of the
interview will be typed and presented in front of the leadership class. The summary will be an overview
of common answers given in the interview session.

If a student declines the interview this too will be noted and the student in the leadership class will need to
move onto another student in the Ripon High student body.

Please follow the format page of the interview and write in the necessary information to complete the
assignment. When you have completed all the interviews attach the typed summary to the information
and turn into Mrs. Mortensen on the required due date. Your presentation will be scheduled based on time
in class.
