Description of the Aurora Manager LITE software
Aurora Manager LITE's characteristics and functions are specifically de-
signed to:
To use the software, connect your PC to the inverter (via an RS485 communication
line) using a PVI-USB-RS485_232 signal converter.
The use of Power-One products is always recommended to avoid compatibility pro-
blems with the inverter.

Updates the inverter firmware.
The update of the inverter firmware might be necessary to improve its performance
or add new functions. In order to update your firmware you need the Firmware pack,
available for download from https://registration.power-one.it/ or upon request to Po-
wer-One Service. The pack is released as a .tib file, to be directly used through Aurora
Manager LITE according to the instructions below.
Then, use the “SEARCH RS485 LINE” button to scan the RS485 bus
and detect the connected inverters

When the scan process ends, select the inverters that need the Firmwa-
re update (by default, all the inverters detected by the scan are selected).
If multiple inverters are selected, Aurora Manager LITE will program the
selected units sequentially.
The Firmware update process is carried out sequentially on all inverters that need it, ba-
sed on the update settings you have selected and the Firmware contained in the .tib file.
The whole reprogramming process takes about 15 minutes.
At the end of the programming phase, the following dialog box is displayed.
At the end of the programming phase, a report on the reprogramming results is au-
tomatically generated and stored in C:\Program Files\Power-One\Aurora Manager\
FW_update_reports.

tion country standards may be 110% of the rated power.
All the configuration values that can be set in this section can be exten-
ded to all inverters connected to the RS485 bus by setting the selector to
the “Apply setup changes to ALL connected units” position. The default
position applies the setting to just the inverter selected in the tree.
