1 TECHNICAL 


ELEKFANTZ is a live act with many instruments played live, hence

the space and technical requirements that are different from a DJ.

1.1 SOUND & BACKLINE

VENUE/PROMOTER need to supply at the stage:

2 (two) XLR cables patched to the house mixing desk (MASTER L/R).
2 (two) XLR cables patched to the stage monitors (MONITOR 1 / MONITOR 2).



!! ATTENTION !! The cables must be available for our exclusive use as they will
be connected directly from our audio console to the venue’s mixing desk. It is
not possible to share the cables and/or connect our audio console to the DJ’s
mixer! In case this is not possible, the venue/promoter must provide an 8
channel audio console on stage (Yamaha, Mackie or Allen&Heath).


!! ATTENTION !! PA size obviously depends on venue size and layout. We only

require a sufficient, well maintained PA to give good, clear, full range
reproduction to all audience areas.

!! ATTENTION !! We need access to the front of house mixing desk and to all
crossovers & processing if requested.

!! ATTENTION !! The cymbal stands must have a minimum height of 1,90
meters (75 inchs) when fully extended.

2 (two) stage monitors with subwoofer, patched separately (stereo), and

positioned on both sides (JBL-Vertec, DAS, D&B, L-Acoustics, dV-Dosc, EAW
or Kara).



!! ATTENTION !! When the venue allows audience backstage, 2 (two) extra
monitors facing such area must be provided.
2 (two) power strips exclusively for the live set, each power strip must have
at least 5 (five) 110 volt outlets.
2 (two) floor fans (only during summer)
1 (one) floor mat/rag (minimum size 1x1 meters (39x39 inches)
Riser/table with those minimum requirements:

assembly, soundcheck and especially during all the show.

ELEKFANTZ supply:

32 channel audio console, electronic drum kit, synthesizers, audio interface

and MIDI controllers (to be setup over the riser/table provided by the venue)
Microphones, drum pads, drum sampler and cymbals (to be assembled on
the stands provided by the venue)

1.3 SCHEDULE
SOUNDCHECK:


We require a minimum of 2 (two) hours, prior to opening. Schedule to be

organized with the TOUR MANAGER.

PERFORMANCE:

Duration of 1 hour (minimum) up to 1 hour and 15 minutes (maximum)




!! ATTENTION !! The duration of the performance cannot be changed even in
cases of last minute lineup changes or delays of any kind.

ELEKFANTZ provides:

USB stick with short video clips to be used by a VJ

2 HOSPITALITY

The items described on the hospitality rider below must be available at the
venue 2 (two) hours before the scheduled show time.



2.1 DRESSING ROOM


1 (one) dressing room in a reserved location, in good conditions containing a
sofa and seats, with air conditioning, no public access and security

2.2 DRINKS & FOOD


The VENUE/PROMOTER must provide the items listed below before the ARTIST’S
arrival on location, but also during and after the performance:

1 (one) ice bucket full of ice (must be refilled when necessary)

1 (one) bottle Chivas whisky
1 (one) bottle Möet & Chandon champagne
Beer
Energy drinks, juices and mineral water bottles
Assorted fruits, sandwiches and chocolates*






!! ATTENTION !! In case the performance is delayed by request of the PROMOTER/

VENUE the hospitality rider must be refilled if necessary.


* Only necessary in festivals and large events

2.3 BACKSTAGE ACCESS & GUEST TICKETS

The artists and crew must receive backstage passes and credentials as well as
the guest tickets at check in time at the hotel or before soundcheck.

6 (six) backstage passes/bracelets.

20 (twenty) guest tickets in prime position or a ELEKFANTZ guest list at the
venue’s entrance with no time restrictions.

!! ATTENTION !! In case the event has a deadline for the guest list, the TOUR
MANAGER must be notified at least 48 hours in advance.

3 LOGISTICS

3.1 VEHICLES

ELEKFANTZ is a live act and travels with hard cases and equipment which require
a large sedan / minivan / SUV for transfers between airport / hotel / soundcheck /
event.



3.2 FLIGHTS

All flights must be chosen and authorized by our AGENT, always considering the
need for soundcheck and time for assembling and disassembling the
equipment.

3.3 ACCOMMODATION
2 (two) double rooms with double beds
1 (one) double room with twin bed (only when requested)

!! ATTENTION !! In case the artists and crew arrive in town during the morning, it
is necessary to authorize an early check in at the hotel. In case the return flight
is in the evening, late check out is also needed.

4 SIGN OFF SHEET
