Flood Relief at Banora & Dabhra

For the past 15 years, the Banora Ashram remains
ever vigilant and duty bound to provide the
necessary aids to the victims of natural calamities.

In September 2011, the heavy rains gave way to a

flood situation in some areas of Chhattisgarh
especially Sirigarh, Marajcood, Saradih and Sakroli.

The Dabhra and Banora Ashram undertook the task

of distributing flood relief supplies such as clothes,
food grains, medicines etc. to the affected families.
Shelter was provided to flood victims during this
period. Dabhra Ashram was busy with disributing
clothes and grains to about 402 men, women and
children from 95 families. Banora Ashram battled Flood Relief Work at Banora and Dabhra
against the flood by distributing clothes and food to
400 families.
