MASTERBUILDER - KREATER Ride for Sight - because you can!!

George Tchor first started playing with motorcycles at the age of 9, from changing tires to rebuilding
engines. By the time he hit 15 he had his first street bike, an RZ 500. After a few modifications the 500
ended up with a 180 rear tire, a reinforced frame and 140 hp.
Working at “MACK” truck shop had the biggest impact on George’s life. Hired at 17 he and trained by some of
the industries best, George lived and breathed trucks. Being the kind of individual that thrives on challenge,
he decided he needed to expand his horizons and returned to school. George went to Ryerson University
to study mechanical engineering, while always keeping at least 6 bikes on the go. A short while later he
realized it was a business of his own that would keep him both challenged and entertained….and so….the
birth of “KREATER”.
With a small crew of 3, the shop has now grown to employee 14 mechanics, welders and fabricators. Always being tested by his elite
list of clientele, George is always faced with building the best most unique machine, each and every time. This type of success forces
him to think of new ideas and concepts and continually reinvent himself as the “Kreater”.
And so the quest continues for George to out do himself each and every time he creates a
masterpiece.
In 2006, Kreater expanded from 6,000 sq ft. into 10,000 sq ft, to compliment the bike
shop with a hot rod shop.

2009. Last year, 2008, marked the 30th Anniversary of Ride for Sight, with motorcycle riders from all over
Canada coming together to celebrate a weekend of fun and friendship, while raising funds for the Foundation
Fighting Blindness. To date, Ride for Sight has raised more than $16 million in support of the Foundation
Fighting Blindness, the only organization in Canada whose sole mandate is to fund research for blindness
caused by retinal degenerations.

funds by selling tickets for a hot air balloon ride courtesy of Aviva Pilot’s Hot Air Balloon Program. Frans de

RIDE FOR DAD
In 2008, Dalton Timmis
sponsored the 4th annual Ride
for Dad both in Ontario and
Alberta. This has become
Canada’s biggest annual
motorcycle event dedicated
to fighting Prostate Cancer
through research, education and raising awareness. Since its
inception in 2000, they have raised over $2,500,000.00 for the
fight.
The Ride for Dad is looking for sponsorship and have many
levels available to suit your budget. If a monetary sponsorship
is not possible, there are many other ways to help out, i.e. door
prizes, services in kind and just your general support. The Ride
has a police escorted Parade of Bikes that will wind its way
through various cities and continue on a scenic country poker
run tour ending off with a night of food, fun and prizes.
