Idea
With the functional requirements such as energy saving,
plastic windows are already on target with their intelligent
multi-chamber systems However, with the design factors,
they frequently reach their limits When it comes to elements
with more glass and less frames – and therefore a higher
incidence of light – classic plastic windows can often not fulfil
the requirements set

Coextrusion, the innovative technology
For more than 35 years, GEALAN has manufactured colourful
acrylcolor profiles with the coextrusion process This innovative
technique is very different from the usual colouring processes

In coextrusion, the coloured acrylic layer forms an inseparable
bond with the plastic profile This results in a long-lasting and
light-resistant layer of colour
