Esteemed Users,

You are highly appreciated for purchasing our PLX102 Mobile X-ray Equipment. In order to

guarantee that you can use this machine correctly and would make full use of it, please

carefully read below maintenance manual before you repair and maintain this equipment.

1. Fuse protector

1.1 Parameter of the fuse protector

Code Socket Type Chip Mode Quantity Remark

FU1 RL1-15 20 A 1 Special regulation

FU2 RL1-15 20 A 1 Special regulation

FU3 BLX 1A 1

FU4 BLX 1A 1

1.2 Location of fuse protector

In the controller, 4 fuse protectors are divided into 2 groups, FU1, FU2 are assembled on the

left rear of the controller, and FU3, FU4 are assembled on the right front. Between the two

groups, there is a division plate and FU3, FU4 are assembled on the plate with the stickers of

their codes.

1.3 Replacement of fuse protector

Attention: Make sure the power is off before replacing the fuse protector!

If group FU3 (1 A), FU4 (1 A) are needed to change, we only need unscrew 2 fixed screws on

the front plate of the controller and then put down the plate and you will see BLX plug socket

on the slight right front. Please choose right fuse socket on basis of the stickers FU3 or FU4

according to the fault and open screw cover, and then start to replace the fuse.

If group FU1(20 A), FU2 (20 A) are needed to change, we should not only unscrew 2 fixed

screws on the front plate of the controller but also unscrew 4 fixed screws on the four corners
of the plate and 2 fixed screws in the controller, and then remove the controller part and you

will see RL1-15 plug socket on the left rear of the controller. Please choose right fuse socket

on basis of the stickers FU1 or FU2 according to the fault and open screw cover, and then

start to replace the fuse.

When replacement is completed, please tighten the screw cover and screws and assemble

the controller part as well as the front plate. Check all components are assembled correctly

without the extra screws and now this equipment can be turn on.

2. Maintenance

2.1 Maintenance requirement

1. This equipment needs regular maintenance.

2. With long time use, the degree of the mechanical security will be declined. In order to

prevent the harm to patients or the operators, we should always check whether the

mechanical parts are loose or whether the braking device is reliable.

3. There should be a specially-assigned person in charge of the machinery and establish

managing files.

4. Operator should be well trained and be able to complete the routine examination.

5. In order to prevent the fatigue reaction of the spring, the X-ray source assembly should be

placed highest when this equipment is not on use.

2.2 Maintenance period

Time interval Check content

● Check whether the indicator , header are normal or not.

Daily inspection ● Check whether the knobs, switches and remote control unit work

normally or not.
● Check whether the X-ray source assembly appears oil leakage.

Weekly inspection ● Check whether there is not common noise when X-ray source

assembly is exposing.

● Check the resistance when the equipment is connected with ground

Half year wire. (<0.1Ω)

inspection ● Check whether all the screws of mechanical parts are loose.

● Check the whole X-ray source assembly and the beam limiting device.

2.3. Cleaning and disinfection

No water to wash the equipment in case of the damage. Cut off the power and then clean the

machine with the cotton fabric soaked in detergent or disinfectant, otherwise, it will accelerate

the panel ageing.

3. Solutions for Common Malfunctions

3.1 Disassembly and assembly of the beam limiting device

Under normal circumstances, the location of the beam limiting device is as the drawing.

1. When needed removing the beam limiting device for some reasons, you should unscrew

the plug from the plug socket of the picture 14, and then screw the locknut of picture 1

counterclockwise to make it released from the X-ray tube assembly. Should you instal the

beam limiting device again, just do in reverse as above method.

Figure 1

3.2 How to change the lamp in the beam limiting device
After power on the beam limiting device, even adjust the button, there is still no light

from it, the possibility is that the lamp is not in normal work. Please see the figure 4, take the

plug of beam limiting device from the socket, measure the resistance Rx1 with multimeter.

Test the foot 1 and foot 2 of the beam limiting device socket. If they are in normal state,

please find other reasons; if not, take off the 2-M3 screw from the back cover board of

Figure2. After taking off the back cover board, take off the 2-M3 screw, and the lens hood, and

the lamp will be seen from the Magnetic base.

Turn off the 2-M3 screw from the magnetic base, take off the lamp. If the lamp is broken,

please change a new one. And then spin tight the 2-M3 screw. (Please note that don’t spin to

hardly in cose of making it broken. After finishing spinning, try to pull it out lightly, it’s ok if you

can not pull it out). Spin the plug of beam limiting device to the beam limiting device socket (in

figure 4), and then press time-limiting switch (see figure 3). The lamp should be lighting for

35s and then turn off automatically. Install other spare partes, please notice to install all of

them. The lamp change is finished.
