1. Understand the basic uses and functions of desktop publishing.
2. Appreciate the significance of using different types of software and/or
applications installed at your computer or laptop.
3. Create your own resume and slides using Microsoft Publisher 2010 and
Microsoft PowerPoint 2010 or later version.

1. Review of recent topic and/ or discussion.
2. Motivation
 The teacher will present a video of using different types of
desktop publisher applications and its functions, advantages
and disadvantages.

Lesson Proper
A. Activity
1. The teacher will group the class into (3) three.
2. Each group will provide names of different software and application
use to create, to publish or to design digital crafts.
B. Analysis
1. The teacher will present a slide deck presentation.
2. The teacher will explain and discuss the desktop publisher software
and application and how does it evolved into something innovative.
3. Teacher will cite some examples of creation through the used of
dekstop publishing tools.

C. Abstraction
The teacher will give or ask students to give the summary the discussion.
1. What is desktop publishing?
2. What are the advantages and disadvantages of using application
installed in Laptops or Computers? How can it easen your works at
school?
3. How to use dekstop publishing tools? Or programs? Cite some scenario
that can be best applied the used of dekstop publishing.
 4. Would it be helpful to install updates necessary to provide sufficiency in
using those dekstop publishing tools? Why?

D. Application
 Each group will create their own resume or power point
presentation using ICT like desktop publishing tools.
 Leader of each group will present and defense their craft.

E. Evaluation
Write an essay about what you have learned with the desktop publishing
