Interface point Description

Signals Exchange between ATWTS Taif Tie-In station control system


(MAPA) and MTST control system (AICC) which required for chlorination
System injector calculations at ATWTS inlet line.
1- Flow Signal of ATWTS Taif Tie-In.
2- CL2 Signal of ATWTS Taif Tie-In WQM.

Signals Exchange between ATWTS Taif Tie-In station control system


(MAPA) and MTST control system as follows:
1- LIT Signal (Common) from Startigic Reservoir.
2- LSHH Signal (Common) from Startigic Reservoir.
3- Status Signals for MOVs between Two Feed Lines (4 MOVs).

Interface between ATWTS Tiaf Tie-In Station (MAPA) Control System and
Shoaiba control System thru Existing Taif Terminal.

Power supply for ATWTS Tiaf Tie-In Station (MAPA) control valves, MOVs,
flow meter, WQM, Control system as follows:
1- One feeder C.B for MOVs and Control valves.
2- One feeder C.B for lighting and Power Sockets.
3- Two UPS Feeders for ATWTS Tiaf Tie-In Station (MAPA) control system.
4- One Auxiliry AC (Non-UPS) Feeder for ATWTS Tiaf Tie-In Station
(MAPA) control system.
5- One UPS feeder C.B for Flow Meter.
6- One UPS Feeder for WQM.

As per SWCC tender drawing (Arafat - Taif) QP20-D-6353 Tie-


InStationTaifStrategicReservoir-P&ID-Rev0, Notes#9 : 60" Valve to be
provided by station contractor (MAPA). Existing spool piece to be
removed

Downstream set point details of control valve (MAPA scope) in Taif tie-in
station area.

Between AICC (MTST) and SSEM (TTRK)

Interface point Description

Signals exchange between AICC (MTST) control system and SSEM PSA1
control system for required resevouirs LIT signals and other signals as
required during detail design.
1- Taif Reservoirs LIT signals to SSEM PSA1 control system.
2- Inlet Flow Signal of PSA1 to AICC (MTST) control system which
required for chlorination system.
3-any other signals required.

terminations at both Ends,....etc. shall be done by
MAPA.

1- AICC will provide 60" pipe invert level, Pipe material


details, wall thickness, internal lining detials and tie-in AICC
point co-ordinates for interface point.

2- MAPA shall provide Taif tie-in station area drawing,


station shafts detaisl and piping layout drawing (up to MAPA
MAPA scope)

3- MAPA shall provide Steady-state, maximum and


minimum flow and pressure conditions at station MAPA
interfaces

3- Final tie-in weld shall be done by the Station

2- AICC to check and take the same in consideration in


SCS design.

3- All installation, supports, network raks, network


switches, media converters, cables, cable routes,
terminations at both ends, ...etc. shall be done by
SSEM.

1- AICC will provide 40" pipe invert level, Pipe material


details, wall thickness, internal lining detials and tie-in
AICC
point co-ordinates for interface point.

3- SSEM shall provide Taif tie-in station area drawing,


station shafts detaisl and piping layout drawing SSEM

4- Final tie-in weld shall be done by the Station

investigated and finalized the following at the site.
1- location of transmitter at the top of the existing NWC AICC
concrete Tank.
2- Cable route for power and instruments cables.

1- AICC need to perform trail pit excavation to verifiy


the detials of existing 2 x 1400mm pipe as per As-built
AICC
drawings.

NWC
2. NWC shall provide approval for trail pit excavation.

3. Based on Point#2, AICC will provide Interface detials


new reservoir inlet piping with the existing 2 x 1400mm AICC
inlet headers of existing Taif Strategic Reservoirm

1- AICC need to perform trail pit excavation to verifiy


the detials of existing 2 x 800mm pipe as per As-built AICC
drawings.

NWC
2. NWC shall provide approval for trail pit excavation.

3. Based on Point#2, AICC will provide Interface detials


new reservoir outlet piping with the existing 2 x 800mm AICC
inlet headers of existing Taif Strategic Reservoirm

1- AICC need to perform trail pit excavation to verifiy


the detials of existing serivce pipes crossting the new AICC
60" storm piping

2. NWC shall provide approval for trail pit excavation. NWC

3. Based on Point#2, AICC will provide Interface detials

1- Existing level transmitters conditions.
2- Possibility to install new LITs in case of no possipility

3- Location to install new RIO panel to transfer level
signals to SCS.
4- Cable route for power, FO and instruments cables.

investigate and finalize the following at the site.
1- the Existing control Room condition.
2- location of new remote Workstation. AICC
3- Location of power supply to feed new remote
Workstation.

1- Determine Location to install new Network rack
including FODF.
2- Determine Location of power supply Panel for new
AICC
Network switches.
3- Determine location of interface cabinet with El
Shoaiba for Telephone and data system integration.
4- determine interface ports/termination details for the
new link inside interface cabinet.
AICC to Arrange Site visit with K&A and SWCC to
investigate and finalize the following at the site.
1- open and inspection of the existing Duct banck
Manholes to check free duct for Fiber optic Cable up to
AICC
existing SWCC Taif terminal Control Room.
2- check and specifying fiber optic cable route inside
existing SWCC Taif terminal Control Room up to new
Network Rack location.

AICC to Arrange Site visit with K&A and SWCC to check


and finalize the required Furniture and upgarde of the AICC
existing Control Room as per G02.
