AUC’s 100-year Logo

Design Competition
Thank you for participating in AUC's 100-year logo design
competition. The deadline for design submission is
February 18, 2018. The selected logo design will be used
on all of AUC's centennial celebration material - including,
but not limited to, publications, promotional material,
advertising campaigns and such. Please read the following
rules and requirements carefully.

Design Submissions Requirements :

1. Submitted logo designs must be original designs by

the submitter. Copyrighted material, plagiarized
designs or concepts will automatically be dismissed.
2. The words centennial or 100 years must be
incorporated into the logo design.
3. AUC’s official nameplate must be incorporated into
the logo design. Preview standard AUC

4. Logo designs must comply with AUC's branding
guidelines:
AUC branding fonts
AUC branding colors
(Metallic gold, silver or bronze are acceptable color
options for print publications)
5. Logos should be scalable for different sizes and
output formats, such as print, digital and gray-scale
for example.
6. Vector format is preferable.

Rules of Engagement:

- The deadline for design submission is February 18, 2018.

- Modification to the submitted logo design may be
requested after shortlisting or final selection.
- The American University in Cairo (AUC) requires full
access to source file(s) to use, or reproduce with no
limitations or restrictions.
- AUC will recognize the designer of the winning logo on
the AUC centennial website. The final logo design will be
considered AUC property and free to use on all AUC
collateral, promotional material and publications.
