GENERAL INFORMATION

A.L.P.A.D. is a non-governmental organization (NGO) that runs a business for people with intellectual
disabilities.
It was founded un 1983 by a group of parents who wanted to provide a working environment for their
children’s future after they completed their formal education.

MISSION

To promove job related, occupational, and socially inclusive activities for individuals with intellectual disabilities.

VISION

The idea behind our proposal is to facilitate social inclusion through work, providing the individual and his/her
family support in the transition to adult life, becoming independent citizens, and in searching social roles.
Our actions contemplate concepts of diversity, difference, singularity, human rights, and quality of life.

A.L.P.A.D. offers top quality packaging and mailing services

Participants are individuals with intellectual disabilities who receive continuous job training and the
opportunity to become part of a productive and dynamic working group with pay, where social activities
are also considered towards their inclusion within the community.
A technical/professional staff provides appropriate support for each particular need, in order to
successfully reach the goals of this proposal.

 Bagging and/or thermo sealing of print material (papers, brochures, magazines)

 Holding, enveloping, and labeling of brochures, commercial documents, etc.
 Assemble of promotional and business gifts
