This agreement is made this 21st day of July 2018.

This agreement represents the complete terms and conditions between Daloy Dance Company
(hereinafter referred to as the “Company”) and (hereinafter referred to as
the “Dancer”).

This contract is to confirm the terms and conditions of Dancer’s participation in Daloy Dance
Company’s dance production, GLITTERS, as already verbally agreed between him
and company.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS:

A. Dancer shall be given 1.)Weekly Monday and Sunday dance

training- Ballet barre class, dance conditioning and Contemporary dance and Improvisation classes
devised and structured by professional teachers in the dance and
fitness industry 2.) Sayaw Galaw workshop and jamming sessions est. worth between Php 250- 500, 3.)
Ugnayan Community Outreach Workshops, Teachers Training, Choreographic Training, International
Guest Teachers Workshops on Dance and Theatre and Contact Improvisation est. worth between Php
2500-7000 per session. 4.) Complimentary tickets to dance, theatre and visual arts productions that are in
collaboration with Daloy Dance Company 5.) Complimentary tickets to Daloy’s own shows and events. 6.)
Credit as his full name/ artist name included and verbally acknowledged in all of Daloy’s online accounts,
performances and printed and online marketing materials.

B. Dancer shall adhere and comply to DALOY CLASSES starting January 2019, every Wednesday in
Polytechnic University of the Philippines College of Communication Compound, and every Saturday in
Queen’s Dance Studio Mandaluyong City. Scholars who are intern for the month will be required to
attend Saturday classes at Queen’s Dance Studio. The three girls scholar will be required to attend
Saturday classes at Queen’s Dance Studio from January to March as remedial.

C. Dancer shall adhere and comply to CLASSES, EVENTS AND OTHER PERFORMANCES SCHEDULE
stipulated below.

Daloy 2019 Production Timeline:

January - Photoshoot
March – Canton
April and May – Choreography Workshop and Dancers makng choreographies for other dancers of Daloy.
Buboy Raquitico’s choreography will be featured/highlighted
September – Metrobank Arts and Design Awards Event, Brown Madonna Show with full on concert dance
theatre back up dancers.
October – Ralph Escamillian, Fil Canadian choreographer to choreo for Daloy, Solo Daloy dancers will join
CCP competition, Syaw Pinoy, Abroad Contemporary Dance Competition
November – Filipino Themed Production via KMP – USA Tour

Works that might be started od developed within 2019 or 2020:

 Agnes Arellano, Tamaraw Headdresses, wild animals piece
 Tats Manahan Dance and Tech
 Goethe Institute, Paula Roslen and/Christine Joy Ritter, German collaborator/ choreographer
might come to Philippines to choreo on Daloy
 HURyCAN, Arthur Bazin, Spanish choreographer might come here and choreo on Daloy

D. The Dancer should dance/act/perform at the best of his ability onstage as a

professional performer.

E. The Dancer shall show professional conduct and good work ethics during rehearsals, photoshoot
and performances for promotional and marketing materials.

F. Company shall reserve permission to use Dancer’s photos in classes, rehearsals, photoshoot and
performances for promotional and marketing materials for ‘Glitters’.

G. The Dancer allows the Company to use his name, photo & video in the marketing collateral of
this production, as well as for documentation processes.

H. The advised physical appearance for Dancer in the Company to ensure maximum potential in
expressing movement is to be physically fit or striving towards personal health and wellness.
Dancers who have low to moderate injuries or medical conditions must notify the Artistic
Director prior to becoming a cast member. Dancers will not be allowed entry into to the Company
with any severe diseases, injuries or medical conditions.

I. There are to be no children, friends or family members attending rehearsals. If a

person wants to observe a rehearsal for any reason, prior permission from the Artistic
Director is needed in order to coordinate the most appropriate time to visit and minimize
distractions.

J. Unexcused absences are not permitted! Unexcused absences will result in dismissal from
the Production. If a dancer is not present at a Company technique training class or rehearsal
or they walk out of a technique training class or rehearsal without a valid reason, they
will be replaced on the spot. PENALTY for tardiness in rehearsal is Php 50, while tardiness for
SHOW CALL TIME is Php 250.
K. Absences will not be excused starting July 23, 2018; however, at any time an emergency

should occur during this time, a dancer must notify the Artistic director immediately to
approve such an absence. Vacation notices must be given to the Artistic Director before
rehearsal seasons begin and will only be approved by this way of submission.

L. The Artistic Director makes all casting call decisions and is responsible for all production matters. All
casting call decisions are non-negotiable by the Artistic Director. On occasions, Collaborating
Artist/Choreographers are allowed to cast dancers in a dance piece, move a dancer in one spot and
then move them into another based on choreography to best suit repertoire. Dancers must fully
agree to accept the roles and changes in roles assigned to them by the Artistic Director and/or
Collaborating Artists/Choreographers. All roles are important in the Company’s repertoire. Dancers
must be willing to accept any part of a dance with a corps of dancers. Roles are not cast by age or
number of years of experience.

M. Dancers are expected to work to their full potential in classes, rehearsals, workshops/intensives,
performances, productions and all other events. Dancers are expected to accept beneficial instructions,
suggestions, redirection, and constructive criticisms to his/her performance capability. Dancers are
expected to maintain his/her level of gracefulness and professionalism. The Artistic Director and/or
Collaborating Artists/Choreographers have the authority to dismiss a dancer from a dance or rehearsal
due to disruptive or disrespectful behaviour and if he/she is not working to his/her full capability.
Please Note: These types of dismissals are based solely on the discretion of the Artistic Director
and/or Collaborating Artists/Choreographers. If the Artistic Director is present when a
Collaborating Artists/Choreographer wishes to dismiss a dancer, the Artistic Director makes the final
decision based on incident. Dancers are also expected to remain loyal to the mission of Daloy DC and
promote positivity among individuals inside and outside the Company.

N. The Dancer acknowledges and agrees that commencement times for Technical Checks and
Rehearsals, staging, technical installations, rehearsals, sound checks and performances are subject to
minor adjustment due to delays and the Artist covenants and agrees to reschedule these items, as
necessary, upon notification by the Company.

O. Company shall provide a safe and ample are for bags, for warm-up, and rest before the show, as
well as meals and refreshments as appropriate and in accordance with the particulars or the
show and production at hand.

P. The Dancer shall be executed from their obligations hereunder in the event of proven sickness,
accident, riot, strike, epidemic, act of God or any other legitimate condition occurrence beyond
their respective control. If any of the provisions in this agreement are determined to be void by a
court of competent jurisdiction, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect. This
agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Quezon City, Metro
Manila, Philippines. The parties agree that they each have the power and authority to enter into this
agreement. This contract is effective upon agreement until July 30, 2018. Should this contract be
extended, it has to be agreed by both parties.
