What does it mean to have faith?

Faith is what you believe in. As a Christian you believe in God.

Faith is confidence that God will do what he has promised.

Your faith will be tested. Study his Word, especially his promises, and you will gain
stronger faith.

God gives us promises.

Our faith believes he will keep them.

The above two scriptures are God’s promises to you! He promises that when you be-
come a Christian, all of your past sins are forgiven and he will continue to “mold” you
into a new person until the day Jesus comes again.

You need to read & study the Bible to claim them as your own!

Think about this:
When things are going well for you, do you praise God and thank him? When things
are not going the way you think that they should, do you start to lose your faith and
wonder where God is during your hard times?

Remember:
God is always there for you whether you are having a good day or a bad day. Again,
you need to study and know God’s promises to gain strong faith.
