Targets for Availability, Performance, Quality and OEE KPIs are delivered as default at Site
Level. These targets are available as Activity Rules in the ‘OEE_POD’ Activity.
The site level target definitions can be overridden at individual Resources as part of Custom Data.
The values are taken as RED, YELLOW and GREEN ranges from left to right
Customers can maintain targets at individual Resources which will override the default targets
maintained at Site Level.
Targets are defined as part of Custom Data. The Data Fields are to be uploaded via
CustomFieldDefBO.idat using the Data Exchange Framework and the target values to be defined
as Data Attributes in the application

For the order data to be available in the OEE POD, shop orders need to be released and executed
in any of the SAP ME PODs.
· OEE Operator Dashboard typically contains filters for Resource, Date, Shift, Order and
Operation selection
· Info Cards: Order Card, Untagged Events, List of Resources along with status in the Site
· KPI Tiles
· Resource Availability Strip
If there are no shifts assigned to the Resource, Shift filter is defaulted to 24 hours shift.
Note: SFCs must be started and completed for the corresponding Shop Orders to be available in
the Order filter section of OEE POD.

Untagged Events displays all the Unscheduled Down or Scheduled Down events that were
recorded for the shift without any reason codes assigned.
Resource status change – The status of the Resource can be changed in real time from the OEE
Dashboard.

· Availability KPI – Availability of the Resource for the selected Resource, Date and Shift
· Performance KPI – Performance of the Resource by measuring the Actual Production against the
Planned Production defined as per the Standard Rate maintained in Standard Rate Maintenance

Manage Downtimes
You can create and view downtimes for the list of Resources by navigating to Manage
Downtimes screen from the OEE POD.
· Users can view the list of downtimes that are recorded based on the Resource, Date and Shift
Selection
· Downtimes can be further filtered by selecting Scheduled, Unscheduled or Minor Tabs.
· Search Box also enables the user to further filter the Downtimes by Resource, Type or Reason
Code
· Users can create a downtime in past, edit or split the existing record from here
· Users can also create a PM Notification against the Unscheduled Downtime record

All the downtimes that are recorded with a duration less than or equal to the threshold maintained in the
System Rule Maintenance – “Minor Downtimes threshold in minutes” are listed under Minor Tab
Example: if the System Rule Minor Downtimes threshold in minutes is set to 3 Minutes, then all
downtimes created with 3 or less than 3 minutes are categorized as Minor Downtime.
These Minor downtimes are shown as aggregated when Reason Codes are not assigned and individual
records can also be seen.

· Planned Production: Planned Production Quantity based on the Standard Rate for the Net
Production time of the SFCs
· Produced in Current Shift: Actual quantity completion on the selected operation of the Shop Order
in the selected shift
· Reported Speed Loss – Speed Loss reported manually in minutes.
· Tagged Minor Stoppage – Minor Downtimes tagged with Reason Codes from the Downtimes
screen.
· Untagged Minor Stoppages – Minor downtimes that affect Performance and are not tagged.
· Untagged Speed loss – Open Speed loss that is calculated in real time that is not tagged.
When the Untagged Speed Loss value is greater than zero, you can click Tag Speed Loss and specify a
duration and assign a Reason code that acts as a Reported Speed Loss as shown in the above picture.

Raise Notification
You can create a Maintenance Notification against an Unscheduled Downtime that will be
notified to SAP ERP. For this, a Resource needs to be mapped with a Functional Location and
Equipment that is maintained in SAP ERP.

Create Notification
You can select the Downtime record and create a Notification.
On the Add New Notification screen, the user can select the Functional Location/Equipment, Notification
Type maintained in the System Rule –’ERP Notification Types’ to create the Notification. Refer to OEE
System Rules.
On Creating the Notification, a notification number is generated from SAP ERP and displayed on the
Notifications tab.

Notifications can also be viewed and a Standalone Notification can be created from the Notification tab
which would be available when the Activity Rule ‘ENABLE_PM_NOTIFICATION’ is set to True in the
OEE_POD activity as in the Maintain OEE KPI Targets section.

4 Examples
1. Maintain all the master data as mentioned above till the Maintain OEE KPI Targets section.
2. Release a Shop order and execute SFCs on the Production Operator Dashboard (Both and Start
and Complete)
3. Create a downtime for the Resource where the Shop Order is being executed as mentioned in
Create Downtime.
4. Scrap some of the SFCs using Scrap/Delete Activity
5. Open the POD-OEE activity. Select the above mentioned Resource, date and corresponding shift
when the order was executed. Further selection operation and Shop order and click Go.
6. The OEE Operator Dashboard shows all the data as mentioned in OEE Operator Dashboard.
