CHAPTER III

METHODOLOGY OF THE STUDY

This chapter presents the description of the research method to be used, a description of

the respondents, the instruments to be used, the procedures and statistical treatment utilized in

analyzing the data that will be gathered.

Research design

This research use descriptive method. The descriptive method involves the description,

recording, analysis and interpretation of the prevailing conditions and the present nature of a

certain group. This method will help to this study because it involves a scientific method.It help

to State the problem, Identification of information needed to solve the problem, Selection or

development of instruments for gathering the information, Identification of target population and

determination of sampling procedure, Design of procedure for information collection, Collection

of information, Analysis of information, Generalizations and/or predictions.

Research Instrument

This research use a survey questionnaire that will used to collect data. The questionnaire

was designed to gather information about the On-the-Job Training Proficiency: A Key To

Surviving Real Career World.

DATA GATHERING
The researcher will ask permission from their research adviser of the school to allow the
Fourth Year students to answer the survey questionnaire. Answered survey questions then , will
be gathered , responses coded and will be subject to appropriate statistical computation of
reliability. Students name will be then deleted from list of total population so as not to include
them again in the selection of the sample population.
