Chris na Erikson (b. 1973) was raised in Småland, southern Sweden, and now
lives in Stockholm. Her first crime novel, Morsarvet, was published in 2014 and
since then she has wri en books together with Thomas Erikson using a differ‐
ent name. THE RISING DARK is her break‐through tle and marks a new begin‐
