Syria Refugees Problem in Europe

All of these problem begin when the civil war started exactly when it was March 2011, the
demonstrators sounded the ‘pro-democracy’ protest toward government, and the military opened fire
to the demonstrators, killing several, and took more. Violence escalated and the country descended into
civil war as rebel brigades were formed to battle, government forces for control of cities, towns and the
countryside. Fighting reached the capital Damascus and second city of Aleppo in 2012.

And more than that, Hundreds of people were killed in August 2013 after rockets filled with the
nerve agent sarin were fired at several suburbs of Damascus. Western powers said it could only have
been carried out by Syria's government, but the government blamed rebel forces.

And Europe can’t wash its hand of what they’ve done, Europe associated with US by NATO or
even by their own hand, they masterminded Syria conflict in 2011, why is that so? Because they form a
Arab Spring Military, and because of this Arab Spring Military, formed Free Syrian Army that want to
overthrow the legitimate governance of Syria, Basar Al-Assad.

Facing the prospect of US military intervention, President Assad agreed to the complete removal and
destruction of Syria's chemical weapons arsenal.

The operation was completed the following year, but the Organization for the Prohibition of Chemical
Weapons (OPCW) has continued to document the use of toxic chemicals in the conflict. Investigators
found chlorine was used "systematically and repeatedly" in deadly attacks on rebel-held areas between
April and July 2014.

So, the biggest question nowadays is ‘why Syrian refugees don’t go to its next door country such
as Saudi Arabia? Because Saudi’s visa requirements are complicated and expensive, moreover not all of
them will be confirmed, mostly of visas which are already confirmed because they already have a family
live in Saudi before, and many other reasons.

But, Saudi’s policy that tried to deny the refugees from Syria not without case. It’s because they
are afraid of instability that will happen in Saudi, in other hand, Saudi keep donating towards the
refugees, even it reach US$900 million.

Since 2011 nearly 9,5 million people or 40% population of Syria left their country to look for a
new place to avoid civil war, and mostly spread among 5 countries that welcome most of the refugees.
They are Turkey, Iraq, Lebanon, Yordania, and Egypt. So why EU countries don’t want to welcome more
refugees rather than another countries which are not as wealthy as them.

So, Syrian refugees decided to go to Europe, why Europe? Because Europe opened the gate for
migration, why? Because Europe suffered from crisis of the productive population, they need a labor
that could run the industry sectors in Europe, so they opened the gate for migration to support their
productive population, and hopefully those migrant will help them to support their industry sectors. So
Syrian refugees decided to go to Europe hopefully beside they found an asylum they can also hired as
workers.

But when they reached Europe they were get denied by the Europeans. Why? Mostly all of the
European country think that they will not be able to provide a place when they are now in economic
crisis situation, not only economic crisis situation but also unemployed crisis in Europe. Slovakia said
that they will accept only 200 Christian refugees.

German chancellor, Angela Merkel said that she is embarrassed with the regulation made by
Slovakia. And the regulation reported as the racist and discriminative among nations, religions, and race.
And regarding to her statement that Slovakia’s law is embarrassing, so she said that ‘German will accept
800 thousand refugees in a year’.

Xenophobia issue spread among EU countries because they are afraid of the military that they
will enter their country and begin another conflict, so that’s why England and France are concerning on
their border security to avoid the refugees enter their country.

So from the explanation I’ve told you, we can conclude that all of those problems were created
because of Europe’s intervention that they created military agents that wanted to overthrow the
legitimate governance of Syria Bashar Al-Assad. And that made Mr. Assad want to eliminate all
opposition that didn’t support him, so, the conflict happened because Mr. Assad sick of those
intervention of Europeans, and Syrian think that it’s time for Syrian hold accountable to Europe.
