Drugs Standard Control Organization (CDSCO)

Central Drugs Standard Control Organization (CDSCO), under Ministry of Health &
Family Welfare proposes to create an IT enabled system for online submission of
various information on clinical trials to streamline the process of approval,
maintaining comprehensive database and monitoring of clinical trials for ensuring
the protection of rights, safety and well beings of trial subjects and authenticity of
the data generated.

Common patient portal of eHospital

The common patient portal hospitals to provide various online services to the
patients such as online OPD appointment, viewing of lab reports, status of
availability of blood in bloodbanks etc. by registered mobile Number or Unique
Hospital Identification Number (UHID). Identity of the patients are confirmed
digitally using Aadhaar authentication service provided by UIDAI to ensure that
only genuine patients are given online OPD appointments.
This document is intended for Government Hospitals who would like to implement
Online Registration System (ORS), which facilities booking of online OPD
appointments using ors.gov.in with support of Ministry of Health & Family
Welfare. Nodal Officers of the Hospital may like to refer this document for
implementation of ORS in their respective Hospitals.
Most of the tertiary Government hospitals and some of the secondary level
hospitals have already implemented Hospital Management Information System
(HMIS) for automating their back-end workflow. But what all these HMIS are
lacking is a proper mechanism of crowd management at registration counters of
the hospitals. Even today, in major Government hospitals, patients have to stand
in long queues to get registered and obtain an Out-Patient Department (OPD) Slip
before being able to consult a doctor. Patients have to wait for long hours outside
doctor’s consultation room for their turn to come.
With no appointment system in place at Government Hospitals, even if their
back-end processes are computerized, long queues still remain at the
registration counters. Also there is no method with hospitals to validate the
demographic details given by the patients at the counter, which is resulting in
duplicity of patient records especially Unique Health IDentification (UHID).
Multiple UHIDs to same patient has resulted in non-maintenance of electronic
health record.

PROJECT EVALUATOR
The project, PROJECT EVALUATOR is being designed to overcome the most of the
manual processes that is going in a software firm. It is a web application that can
simplify the task of the administrator, project manager, project leader, developer
and tester.

The process of accepting a project from a client, assigning this project to a


project leader in such a way that he is not overloaded, the task of division of the
project to various developers, daily evaluation of project, weekly report of status
of project, testing and its report, all these functions was made easy with this
project.Since Automatic generation of reports give complete details about the
process that help to provide the information to the requester on the click of the
mouse, so the project leader and developers along with others could get the
information at a button click.

This will allow the office for speed - up the operations. The project is designed in
such a way that many of the input operations are done through well structured
forms. The forms are capable of validating and checking the integrity and
correctness of the input.

Generation of an IAS officer’s Performance Appraisal Report (PAR) as per the


guidelines mentioned in the “Workflow Guide for SPARROW

 Filling up of the Appraisal Performance Report (PAR) for the self by an IAS
officer can be done as per the guidelines mentioned in the “Filling of eAPAR
Quick Guide(Demo).docx”.
 Similarly for assessing the APARs of other IAS officers by the concerned
Reporting.
 /Reviewing/ Accepting Authority, is mentioned in “Filling of eAPAR Quick

Online University Admission System


Student admissions are a vital part of any university’s running because students
are what keep a University alive. The student admission is one of the most
important activities within a university as one cannot survive without students.

A poor admissions system can mean fewer students being admitted into a
university because of mistakes or an overly slow response time. The process
begins with a potential student completing an application form through the
Universities and Colleges Admissions Service, the first step for students is to
apply directly to the university through a custom online form.
The next step is for the Admissions service center has to review the application
and ensure that all of the required information has been provided, from the form
itself to the supplementary documentation, such as language and degree
certificates.

If any of the required information is missing, it is the secretary for the


department to which the application concerns that contacts the potential student
and arranges for the delivery of the outstanding data. The application in its
entirety is then forwarded, complete with a recommendation, to the respective
department’s Admissions Tutor, who has the final say as to whether each
potential student is accepted or rejected.

Before making a decision, the Admissions Tutor reviews the application and the
additional documentation, comparing the academic credentials to a list of
university rankings and previous, similar applications.

Project Scope
This project’s aim is to automate the system, pre-checking the inclusion of all
required material and automatically ranking each student’s application based on a
number of criteria.

These criteria include the ranking of their university, their grade at said university
and their language grade Certificate. The data used by the system is stored in a
database that will be the centre of all information held about students and the
base for the remainder of the process after the initial application has been made.

This enables things to be simplified and considerably quickened, making the jobs
of the people involved easier. It supports the current process but centralizes it
and makes it possible for decisions to be made earlier and easier way. 1.3.1
Goals The main goal of the system is to automate the process carried out in the
organization with improved performance and realize the vision of paperless
admission.
Some of the goals of the system are listed below:
 Manage large number of student details.
 Manage all details of student who registered for the course and send
appropriate details about the course to the students account.
 Create student accounts and maintain the data’s effectively.
 View all the details of the students.
 Create the statistical reports to facilitate the finance department work.
 Manage the details of hostellers and facilitate the allotment of hostels rooms
for the students.
 Reduce the work load in interview the students for selection and Counseling
should be very effective rather then direct methods.
 Activities like updating, modification, deletion of records should be easier.
 The System must support Undo the Previous activities if any Problem Occurs.

address the limitations of the current system. The requirements for the system
have been gathered from the defects recorded in the past and also based on the
feedback from users of previous metrics tools. Following are the objectives of the

geographically.

Online Jewellery Shop

Online Jewellery Shop is basically used to build an application program which help
people to find and buy latest design of jewellery with different categories like Gold
Silver, Diamond. It is useful in the way that it makes an easier way to buy
products online. Today most of the jewellery shop is useful for shopping site. The
admin have lots of paper work and they are using desktop, spread sheet like MS
Excel application to manage data in soft copy about user record.
In this proposed jewellery System it will run in server and user can handle whole
the registration activities. It has facilities to generate various types of reports
(like pdf, excel) which are required by the management during event organizing.
This application maintains the centralized database so that any changes done at
a location reflects immediately.
This is an online tool so more than one user can login into system and use the
tool simultaneously. The aim of this application is to reduce the manual effort
needed to manage transactions and historical data used in various gods owns.
Also this application provides an interface to users to view the details about
events.
System Actors The application is implemented in PHP and consists of two main
components: i. Admin and ii. Customer side Admin side consists of the features
such as Creating Username & Password, Input Items, Modify Items, Delete items,
Query Sale Data, Query Database’s data, and Logout. Customer?user side
consists of the features such as Select Products, Search Products, Buy Items,
Continue Shopping, View Cart, Checkout, Sign-in, Creating an Account, Bill/Ship
Information, Confirm, Send Order, and Delete Order.
There are also the future works for this application. There are mainly three such
objectives which are as follows:
• To shop in the comfort of your home, without having to step out of the door.
• To be able to easily save money and compare prices from website to website.

Election Expenditure Monitoring System

Election Commission of India has introduced computerization at every level of its


working. This had facilitated an effective and error free Election process in the
entire country.For monitoring day to day election expenditure incurred by the
candidate, election expenditure mechanism will be put in place in each
constituency. Maintenance of the day to day account of election expenditure is
required to be submitted within 30 days of the declaration of result from the date
of the declaration of the campaign period for it to be of any use. After the
campaign is over it will be difficult to get any evidence of election expenditure.
Since, the DEO is required under the law to scrutinize and submit a report to the
Commission after the election, it is primarily the duty of the DEO to collect proper
evidence during election campaign, based on which it will be decided whether any
expenditure is left out in the statements of accounts submitted by the candidates.
The application software will reduce the manual work, streamline the operation
and hence increase efficiency, transparency and the productivity. It will also
facilitate in publishing of accurate and timely expenditure reports.

Scope of Project

This software system will be an Election Expenditure Monitoring System for the
DEO, CEO andECI. This system will be designed to monitor the account lodged by
the candidates so that furtheractions can be taken.More specifically, this system
is designed to monitor candidate’s total expenses, funds given bypolitical party to
the candidate, funds given by others to the candidate, expenses understated or
no,candidate expenses exceed ceiling amount or not. After scrutiny of the account
of election expenses maintained by the candidate/his election agent, the DEO will
send a report to the Commission in prescribed format. The candidate who will not
lodge his account or if there are discrepancies in the account gets a notice by the
Commission, which is served to the candidate by the DEO.This software would not
only provide facility for better internal management but also facilitates
DEO/CEO/ECI in the expenditure reports generation as per AC, Districts,
Candidates etc.

Digital India Land Records Modernization Programme (DILRMP)

The Government of India has decided to implement the Centrally-Sponsored


scheme in the shape of the Digital India Land Records Modernization Programme
(DILRMP) by merging two existing Centrally-Sponsored Schemes of
Computerization of Land Records (CLR) and Strengthening of Revenue
Administration and Updating of Land Records (SRA&ULR), as well as
adding related system of Property Registration in the Department of Land
Resources (DOLR),Ministry of Rural Development. The main components of the
system are entry of ownership records, continuous Mutations updating,
digitization of maps and integration of textual and spatial data, survey/re- survey
and updating of all survey and settlement records including creation of original
cadastral records wherever necessary, computerization of registration and
its integration with the land records, development of core Geographical
Information System(GIS) and capacity building. The main objective of the
DILRMP is to develop a modern,comprehensive and transparent land records
management system in the country.This DILRMP-MIS is developed to monitor the
progress of the DILRMP implementation through an online system.

Electricity Survey and Web Application

Electricity connection will be made available in the all household- one of the
Seven ‘NISCHAY’ of state government which promises that all houses in the
villages and habitations will have an electricity connection and get power
The Bihar Energy Survey and Verification Mobile Apps has been developed by
NIC, it will help to survey of consumers of all household of NBPDCL and SBPDCL.
It will be implemented in both the DSICOM for rural and urban consumer. The
mobile apps have been developed in Android studio with java web services at
server end to interact with database.
Operation of Mobile Apps requires basic knowledge of operating the Android
Mobile and of working guidelines of Survey. The apps have been deigned in
structured way and major processes along with its sub-processes have been put
into navigable menus for easy understanding and operations. The main purpose
of Mobile Apps is to act as tool to achieve 100 percent survey, verification and
monitoring with reference to all the essential operations of the survey process.
Operations of the detailed processes have been enumerated with necessary
guidelines as and when required. The guiding instruction for the same has been
explained in this document. This will also give an idea of web application to
monitor and mapping of activity
Bihar Energy survey Mobile Apps is developed in Sql Server as back end with Java
as front end to interface with the user. Advance Java platform is used for apps at
server end, Android mobile and thermal printer at client end. The system is
operational with java web services based Architecture .

Online Submission &


Monitoring of Environmental, Forests and Wildlife Clearance
In order to bring more transparency and accountability in the forests,
environment and wildlife clearance process, Ministry of Environment, Forests and
Climate change,Government of India has rolled out a portal named as “Online
Submission & Monitoring of Environmental, Forests and Wildlife Clearance”
(OSMEFWC).OSMEFWC is a web based, role based, G2C and G2G workflow
application that are developed for online submission and monitoring of the
proposals submitted by the user agencies for seeking forests, environment and
wildlife clearances. It automates the entire tracking of proposals which includes
online submissions of a new proposal, editing/updating the details of proposals
and displays status of the proposals at each stage of the workflow. The system is
based on the Web Architecture. It uses IIS as an application server, .Net as a
framework and SQL Server as a database server.

OBJECTIVE

The following are the main objectives of the system:


1) Enhance efficiency, transparency and accountability in the forest, environment
and wildlife clearance process.
2) Reduction in turnaround time for activity.
3) Enhance responsiveness through workflows automation and availability of real
time information.
4) Enhance ease and convenience of citizens and businesses in accessing
information and services.
5) Achieve standardization in processes across regional and state level.

saving to get recognition for your organization by Ministry of Tourism (MOT).
Whether it is a fresh approval or for the renewal, you can now do it all online.

All Travel Agents, Inbound Tour Operators, Tourist Transport Operators,


Adventure Tour Operators and Domestic Tour Operators can get their travel trade
recognitions here.This User Manual contains all the essential information for the
user to make a complete use of online travel trade approval. The institution of

Parliament -Question Answer Publishing system

The PQA is the system for e-publishing of Parliament Questions by the Question
branch of Rajya Sabha Secretariat and publishing of their answers by the
respective Parliament section of the concerned Ministry of the Govt. of India. The
system aims at publishing of the replies to the answers to the Parliament
Questions on the same day after they are replied in the House, thus making them
available on the public portal of the Rajya Sabha immediately without any delay.
The PQA is designed as user/roll based secured web portal hosted over SSL for
publishing of information by its various stake holders. In the present System,
each Central Ministry/Department has been assigned a user Name / Password
(Parliament Section). The Ministry users shall be able to upload the questions /
answers and their annexure and Hindi version of the question/answer. The
system also maintains log of all the users entering into the system, thus activities
on the web portal are monitored by the application administrator.
There are two types of users in the PQA web portal.
1. Administrator
2. Other Users
Online Registration System (ORS) of Common Patient Portal

Information Technology has been playing an important role in improving facilities


provided to patients in hospitals. Most of the tertiary Government hospitals and

health record. Under Digital India initiative of DeitY, National Informatics Centre
(NIC) has developed an Online Registration System (ORS) to book an online OPD
appointment for various department in the Government hospital of their choice.
This common patient portal is easily accessible over Internet at http://ors.gov.in
and is hosted at MeghRaj, cloud facility at National Data Centre, Delhi.
ORS portal is a framework to link various Government hospitals across the
country to facilitate the patients for taking online appointments with any hospital
by authenticating using Aadhaar Number and in case they don’t have Aadhaar
number, using their Mobile Number. A Patient giving Aadhaar number is
authenticated by sending One Time Password (OTP) by UIDAI if patient’s mobile
number is registered with UIDAI. New Patient will be given Unique Health
Identification (UHID) number and E-OPD card, if authenticated using Aadhaar
Number. If Aadhaar number is already linked with UHID number, then
appointment number will be given and UHID will remain same.
On-Boarding Manual- New patients, who don’t have Aadhaar, can also get
online appointment but patient would need to provide demographic details after
which an appointment ID is generated. But in these cases, patient would be given
UHID and OPD card from the registration counter of the hospital by paying
registration fee.
The ORS would facilitate hospitals to provide various kinds of services to patients
online by simply presenting his/her Aadhaar Number or registered mobile Number
or Unique Hospital Identification Number (UHID) in a secure manner. Initially,
online services like online OPD registration, booking of appointments, viewing of
medical reports and status of availability of blood in hospitals etc are being
provided through an online Common Patient Portal (ors.gov.in) of eHospital. The
demographic details of patients are taken online using eKYC service of UIDAI
against the patient’s Aadhaar number. The patients can avail online services from
anywhere any time without standing in a queue at hospitals.In the first phase of
implementation, four Major Hospitals like AIIMS, Dr Ram Manohar Lohia Hospital
(RML), Sports Injury Centre (SIC) and NIMHANS have been on boarded.

enjoying prosperity for quite a long time, supermarket began to face serious
challenges and bottlenecks in the late 1990s, when sales per square foot of
market space kept dropping. Today shopping centres are becoming more complex
in terms of its size, type and characteristics and this depicts the challenging role
the management team faces. It is important for the owner/developer to establish
excellent management teams in order to face the challenges.
In this project, we will be designing supermarket management system using PHP
platform.
The system is designed to work on intranet as well as on Internet
The management system will coordinate different managerial tasks.

arriving or departing at different airports or seaports before clearing the

designed to maintain a database of persons wanted in connection with any
crimes.Emigration clearance (EC) is a kind of legal authorization for ‘emigration’
obtained in the prescribed manner and form from the Protector of Emigrants
(POE).Emigration clearance is issued under provisions of Sec 22(1) of the
Emigration Act 1983. This authorization is currently issued in the form of a
‘security sticker’ duly signed by the POE and gets pasted on the Passport of the
emigrant who requires Emigration clearance.All Indian citizens whose Passport
has been categorized as “Emigration Check Required”(ECR) are required to obtain
Emigration clearance(EC) from the POE’s before proceeding to specified “ECR
Countries” for the purpose of Employment.As of now the Passports of all those
persons whose educational qualification is below matric are categorized as ECR
Passports. An endorsement (ECR seal/stamp/remark) to this effect is provided

The Public Distribution System (PDS) evolved as a system of management of


scarcity and for distribution of foodgrains at affordable prices. Over the years,
PDS has become an important part of Government’s policy for management of
food economy in the country. PDS is supplemental in nature and is not intended
to make available the entire requirement of any of the commodities distributed
under it to a household or a section of the society.
PDS is operated under the joint responsibility of the Central and the State
Governments. The Central Government, through Food Corporation of India (FCI),
has assumed the responsibility for procurement, storage, transportation and bulk
allocation of food grains to the State Governments. The operational responsibility
including allocation within State, identification of eligible families, issue of Ration
Cards and supervision of the functioning of Fair Price Shops (FPSs) etc., rest with
the State Governments. Under the PDS, presently the commodities namely
wheat, rice, sugar and kerosene are being allocated to the States/UTs for
distribution. Some States/UTs also distribute additional items of mass
