3. BSNL MT EXAM 2019 Preparation Strategy

We had send the exam syllabus to our training team for analysis. Even our training team was dazzled by
looking at syllabus. The syllabus is vast and difficult to cover but not impossible. Our training team has
sent the following analysis that will help students to prepare for the exam.

A. Section wise Syllabus Analysis

1. Section-I:ManagementAptitude–Syllabusgiven is generallyof 1st Year MBA. Students who have

already done MBA course will find it easy.

2. Section –II : Cognitive Aptitude- Syllabus given is generally of CAT/Bank PO exam .

3. Section III: Technical Knowledge : Syllabus given is of IES exam ECE Branch .If you see the IES exam
topics for ECE Branch ,syllabus covers all the topics and one extra topic of Power Electronics of
IES Electrical Syllabus

B. Section Wise Syllabus in Detail:

The Notification does not mention about detailed syllabus .But we will take into account general
syllabus of all sections and probable topics that may be asked in it.

1. Section-I:Management Aptitude:Annexure–1CheckatendofStrategy Guide

2. Section –II : Cognitive Aptitude : Annexure –2 Check at end of Strategy Guide
3. Section – III :Technical Knowledge : Annexure – 3 Check at end of Strategy Guide

C. Certain points to remember while studying:

1. Chances of Time Consuming Questions to be asked? Less

There will be total 150 questions [50 questions each section] .If you check the time limit, the exam is of 3
hrs i.e 180 mins .150 questions in 180 min i.e 1 question in 1.2 minutes. So mostly chances of Time
Consuming Questions or big Mathematical calculation questions to be asked are less .If question is of
time consuming nature
don t attempt it. So don t waste your time in preparing questions which have more mathematical
calculations especially in aptitude and technical section.

2. Whether to study all topics in depth ? - No

Each section will have 50 questions. Now if we check the detailed syllabus (Check Annexure at end) ,each
section has around 10-12 topics ,so approx 4-5 questions will be asked from each topic if we consider
uniform distribution of questions. So if a student is finding some topics as difficult ,the students can omit
the topics while prepare the other topics completely.
3. Give more stress on topics which are more important. Do not waste time in preparing topics which are
less important. For Eg: In Technical section, Communication and Electronics are more important topics
and will carry more weightage than topics like computer engineering .

4. Concept Based Questions :Generally the questions will be concept based .So study the topics
concepts properly.

D. BSNL MT Exam 2019 Planning

As the BSNL MT exam nears, you will need to create a plan to help you study effectively and minimize stress.
The first step is to figure out how much time and effort you must dedicate to studying for the exam by
asking the following questions:

 How much material do you need to cover?

 How difficult is the material?
 How much time is available?
 Do you have any other priorities during the study period?
 What is the format of theexam?
 How important is the exam?
 What is your performance target (marks) for the exam?

To prepare the study plan, map out all of the material that has to be covered and make a schedule showing
what, when and how much you will study each day. Studying will involve revision of the material that you
have already covered

Here are some tips to follow in creating your study plan:

A .Budget your time realistically

Time is everything .Prepare a time table before starting. Allocate the study time into several manageable
study sessions. Find the time which best suits you for studying Some like to study early morning while some
prefer late night.Examkart has prepared a timetable for all exams so that it will be easy for students to plan
according to it .You can view the schedule at the end of document

First read all the topics which you find important. For Eg: Examkart has marked topics Imp in Annexure at
the end .One can read those topics first as more questions can be asked from those topics and than
concentrate on other topics . This will not only save time but will also give you extra time in revising the
same topics again.

B. Make Notes of Topics

Reading all the syllabus topics of exam will be boring . Always write down short notes of the topics you
read and find important . This notes will help you in revising topics during end days when your exam is
near.

Examkart will provide Last Day Revision (LDR) Guide which covers all the important topics short notes
which help students to prepare during end exam. Also notes and documents of whole syllabus important
topics will be provided.

C. Practicing under ExamConditions

Knowing the theory part is necessary but not sufficient to guarantee success on the exam You also need to
be able to communicate the answers effectively under exam conditions. Practice using practice test in the
same format as the exam and answer them in a simulated test environment. The practice session should
serve as a feedback loop. Check the answers to the practice questions to diagnose your strengths and
ExamKart https://examkart.testpress.in Page 9
/
BSNL MT Exam 2019 Mail: examkartindia@gmail.com Or Call Us on 08433889554
weaknesses. If you are weak in an area, go back and study it further to address any gaps. The more tests you
practice ,the more better score you will achieve in final exam.

Examkart provides different BSNL MT Exam Test Series Packages which student can choose according to
his/her need. The test series consists of plenty quality tests containing Multiple Choice Questions in
similar exam environment as that of final BSNL MT exam which gives student enough practice before
appearing for BSNL MT Finalexam.

D. Know where you stand

This is the most important stage in any exam preparation. One should have an idea of competition before
giving any exam. Preparing for exam and just blindly appearing for final exam will never help. Though one
has prepared well enough for exam ,one should have an idea of where he/she stands in overall
competition.

ExamKart Test Series provides All India Rank (AIR) & Percentile of all tests so one will get excat idea of
where he/she stands. One can compare their marks with toppers marks. Also one will come to know in
which topics one is weak and has to prepare more.
