Course Title: Current Issues, Trends, and Problems in Education


I. Course Description: This course deals with the study of recent and significant innovation in the Philippines Educational System
II. Credit Units: Three ( 3 ) units
III. Time duration: Saturday 3 hrs. 10:00-1:00 PM (54 hours)
IV. Course Objectives:
1. To develop rational consciousness on the different issues and programs beset the Philippines educational system affecting the country’s development goals.
2. To instill awareness on the innovations introduced globally for the improvement of nation’s society.
3. To identify and analyse the problems, issues, and trends in the educational institution.
4. To give and enhance suggestions and possible solution to the different issues and problems in order to cope with the changing times.
5. To appreciate educational thrusts that would help our educational system to uplift quality of education.
