D. Activity Description:

1. No less than three participants gather around and sit in a circle.

2. The first player will start off by saying a letter out loud

3. Each player will then add a letter on, in an attempt to get the following player to spell out

a word.

4. If a player adds a letter that completes a word or makes a word with no possible

combination then they get a point.

5. If the player reaches a certain amount of points (ex. 5) ,then that person is out.

E. Multilateral is the primary interaction pattern chosen for this activity. This was chosen due to

the activity being consisted of three or more participants who goal is to equally eliminate each

other for the competition without teaming up.

F. According to research specifically for Relapsing-Remitting Multiple Sclerosis, these patients

encounter similar symptoms as other forms of MS. However, those with RRMS symptoms

mainly are affected with more brain lesions in comparison to in the spinal cord. So factors such

as memory and processing information is a higher of concern. So this activity is used to help

participants process words , while remembering to avoid the actual concept of spelling the word.
Ways to adapt this particular activity for the disability group, would be to provide visible

lettering for the participants to see, to ease the straint of overthinking and helping remember. As

well as to make the groups as small as possible, preferably 3 participants at a time, to reduce the

laps of going a round which would improve a quicker reaction to remembering the concept of the

game.
