Give with Ola this Daan Utsav!

As a responsible corporate citizen, Ola is celebrating “Daan Utsav – The Joy of
giving week” from Oct 2nd to Oct 6th. You can also join in the spirit of giving by
doing any of the following in-office activities:
3rd October: Wish Tree (MIC, TP)
Visit the wish tree in your office any time before 6th October and fulfill a wish –
Wishes have been contributed by the children of our office support staff and from
Ankura Foundation and EduDaan. Or contribute through digital wish tree (Link to
be inserted)
4th October: Audio Book Reading (MIC, TP, EGL)
Visit the audio book recording room in your office any time before 6th October,
pick up a book and read it aloud – Your voice recording will be used by Shankara
Eye Hospital to help many visually challenged people experience the joy of
reading
5th October: Blood Donation Camp (MIC)
Visit the blood donation center set up by Manipal Hospitals at MIC and donate
blood- You never know when it may help save a life (Only on 5th October)
6th October: Seva Mela (MIC, TP, select city offices)
Visit your in-office seva mela stalls and pledge to donate your organs or volunteer
for an NGO

ethos, with the Week being celebrated every year by engaging people
through "acts of giving" - money, time, resources and skills - spanning the

public.

Dear Olan,

This Daan Utsav, we want to give back to society and we need your help to spread the word. Just do
any one of the following things, write your name and the number of the thing you did on the back
and pass it on to the next person. At the end of the day, place the card on the nearest wish tree!

1. Give a hug to someone who needs it

2. Say thank you to our service/housekeeping staff
3. Compliment someone sincerely
4. Buy a meal for someone who needs it
5. Fulfill a wish from the wish tree
6. Record an audio book for the visually challenged
7. Donate blood at the blood donation camp
8. Pledge to donate your organs
9. Pledge to volunteer for an NGO
10. Gift something nice to a underprivileged child

Help us grow the Ola wish

Daan Utsav!

Pull out a Wish Card (White card) from the wish tree – Each wish card
will have a wish written on it. These wishes are from the children of our
driver - partners.
If you wish to fulfill the wish, just write your Name, Email ID, Mobile
Number and Employee ID behind the card and drop it in the box
Pick up a Wish Fruit (Green and Orange) from the basket, write your
name in the space given and stick it back at the same place from where
you took the Wish Card.
Once all the wishes are fulfilled, the tree will be converted into the
Wish Fruit tree, with smiling faces all over! 
